After a very slow two-game night on Monday, the NHL bounces back today with a solid eight game schedule. We’re only a week into the season, but we’ve already seen (among other things) a player knock himself out in a fight, a coach break through the boards, and a coach get fired after an 0-3 start. I guess all is status-quo for the NHL.

_*Make sure to check the "RotoGrinders Starting Goalies Page":/pages/NHL_Starting_Goalies_Daily-104978 to confirm that the goalie listed below is starting prior to puck-drop*_
*PLAYER NAME- Vancouver Canucks* - The Canucks have owned one of the leagues best home-ice advantages over the last several years and Luongo should benefit tonight. He'll square off versus a New Jersey team that has struggled to put the puck in the net and has very few offensive weapons.
h3. Forwards
*Disclaimer: Name, Name and Name are always solid plays. If you can afford them today, use them with confidence*
*PLAYER NAME- Vancouver Canucks* - Dupuis has an assist in each of the first two games this year and as long as he resides on Crosby's wing, he'll be a point producing machine. Dupuis had four points and was a +3 in three meetings versus Carolina last year, and is in perfect position to continue his point streak.
*PLAYER NAME- Vancouver Canucks* - Giroux has failed to register a point so far this season, but he's undeniably the most explosive offensive weapon the Flyers have. He'll faceoff against a defensively challenged Florida team that was just destroyed by the St. Louis Blues in their last outing. His slow start to the season may have lowered the asking price slightly, so get him into your lineup before he explodes for a monster game.
!(right)https://s3.amazonaws.com/rical-images/mike-fisher-300x200.jpg!
*PLAYER NAME - Toronto Maple Leafs* - Bozak centers the Leafs top line and is flanked by snipers Van Riemsdyk and Kessel. He's averaging over 21 minutes of ice-time per game with more than four minutes of that time being on a power-play that's clicking at a 26.7% clip. He's extremely underpriced on a few sites and is a fantastic value play in those cases tonight.
*PLAYER NAME - Nashville Predators* - Since being traded to the Music City in 2010, there are very few NHL Players with more dramatic home versus road splits than Mr. Fisher. In 103 homes games as a Nashville Predator, Fisher has posted 72 points and is a plus 18 (versus just 38 points and a minus 18 on the road). He's tallied a point in each game so far this short season and will clearly be excited to hit the ice in what is the Predators home opener
h3. Defensemen
*PLAYER NAME - San Jose Sharks* - Boyle has been kept off of the scoresheet in each of the first two contests this season, but it's not due to a lack of scoring opportunities. He's averaging nearly 5.5 minutes of power-play ice time and is not shy about firing the puck at the net. He'll do battle tonight against a New York team that has allowed a power play goal in each game this season and that is in the midst of brutal nine game road trip.
*PLAYER NAME - Pittsburgh Penguins* - Niskanen has already tallied three assists on the young season and has been a +2 in both games. With Kris Letang out of the lineup due to an injury, Niskanen has also seen an uptick in power-play time. He's very reasonably priced on most sites and has a plus matchup at home versus Carolina.
