How to Play

The King of Winter promo is open exclusively to RotoGrinders members. In order to participate:

1. You MUST have your DraftKings screen name in your Grinders Profile by the end of each contest.

2. Play in each King of Winter event. Your top finish in each contest will automatically accumulate points towards the King of Winter leaderboard, assuming you completed Step 1 above and have your DK screen name added to your profile here on RotoGrinders.

Our scoring will be based on percentile finish in each contest. Not playing in any of the 3 contests will give you a lower score than being in the “lowest” percentile, so be sure to enter into each of the contests to maximize your overall score!

*Your results will only be added to the leaderboard if you add your DraftKings screen name to your RotoGrinders profile, so make sure you’re all set before the first contest!

**Full-time RotoGrinders employees are ineligible for the added DraftKings dollar prizes.

Scoring

Each participant’s top finish (yes, you can multi-enter) will be scored with its exact percentile in that contest. This will help us normalize variations in contest sizes and scoring.

The person with the highest average percentile across contests wins.

Please note that we reserve the right to correct any scoring or display issues throughout the contest

Scoring Example

Here’s an example of the scoring process so you have a better idea of how your results impact your overall score:

Player X finishes 182nd out of 143,750. We calculate the percentile finish using the formula:

Percentile = 100 – (place_finished) / entrants x 100)

Player X’s result is the 99.8734th percentile.

We repeat this calculation for each of the 3 contests and then get an average percentile score to determine the final overall percentile score. The player with the highest score after all 3 contests is the winner!
