Site Owners Posting Guidelines
General Posting for Featured Sites
We encourage you to reply in any discussion thread with conversation, but not as an advertisement for your site. If a thread is about your site specifically (i.e. if the original poster mentions your site in his post) feel free to post anything you want. There are some threads that are in a gray area – such as a thread asking about bonuses or discussing bonuses. Feel free to answer members’ questions as it pertains to your site, but use discretion in a thread meant for discussion. In addition, if a thread is not about your site, please don’t interject, or use it as an opportunity to promote your site.
Promotional Threads
Each Featured Partner site is allowed to start one new promotional thread per week. You can promote anything you want about your site in this thread and you can reply to it as much as you want. Please originate only one new promotional thread per week. Feel free to originate discussion or strategy threads as you wish, within reason.
Discussing Competitors
Please do not say anything negative about your competitors or call out any of your competitors specifically. Listing facts or praise is fine. Normal members will have free reign to voice their opinions about your site, positive or negative, within reason.
No Advertising in Blog Comments or Private Messages
Discussing a blog is fine, but please don’t mention your site in blog comments. Soliciting through Private Messaging is prohibited.
Don’t be Spammy
In any post, even if it is your promotional post, try to take a conversational tone. Not only will it look more natural in the forums, it will produce more conversions for your site.
