Kansas City Chiefs Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Patriots-Chiefs now scheduled for 7:05 PM ET Monday

Both the Patriots and the Chiefs have had zero additional positive tests since their initial positives caused their game to be delayed. Now they're schedule to kickoff Monday night as the early game of a MNF double header, with the games scheduled to overlap for about an hour or so. It will remain to be seen how the DFS sites handle this news, but there could be some good two-game slates tomorrow night. Any additional positive tests before kickoff would likely result in another postponement.

Patriots-Chiefs Week 4 game postponed; Expected to be played Monday or Tuesday

The Patriots-Chiefs Week 4 game has been postponed, and is expected to be played Monday or Tuesday. There still remains risk of further postponement, depending on the test results for both teams. Right now the only solution is to wait and see what happens.

Every Chiefs Player Healthy for Super Bowl

Every Chiefs player practiced fully Friday and is available for the Super Bowl. The Chiefs will take on a 49ers team that is also fully healthy, with every player available for both teams.

Every Chiefs Player Practices Fully Wednesday

The Chiefs are healthy heading into the Super Bowl, with every player practicing fully Wednesday. Travis Kelce was listed with a knee injury, but there is no concern about his availability.

Chiefs DL Chris Jones is Active for Today's Game Vs. the Titans

Jones, a star defensive lineman who missed last week's game vs. the Texans, is active today and will likely play in a limited fashion for the Chiefs. Jones is an excellent pass rusher for his size and should see work on passing downs if the Titans get behind.

Chiefs DL Chris Jones (Knee, Calf) is Inactive Against the Texans Today

The Chiefs star defensive lineman is unable to play today because of calf and knee ailments. The team was optimistic he would be able to go, but he was spotted wearing a knee brace on his right knee during warmups and is inactive. The Chiefs won't be able to pressure Deshaun Watson as easily and Carlos Hyde will likely have some bigger holes to run through without Jones on the field.

Lions CB Darius Slay and WR Danny Amendola Inactive

Slay will miss today's contest, which upgrades the Chiefs passing game even more. The Lions pass catchers should see extra targets go around with Amendola out.

CB Darius Slay (Hamstring) is a True Game-Time Decision

The star CB's status for today's game might not be decided until right before kickoff. With the Lions secondary already banged up, this is set up to be a monster game for QB Patrick Mahomes in his first ever NFL start in a dome.

Weather Expected to "be a Factor" Sunday for Ravens-Chiefs

This is a huge situation to monitor for NFL DFS in Week 3. This game still has the highest total of any game this weekend, but the O/U has dropped and is now currently at 52.5 because of weather concerns.

Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, and Travis Kelce are among the most expensive options at their respective positions across the industry and are currently projected to see top-four ownership at QB and TE. LeSean McCoy, Sammy Watkins, and Marquise Brown have projected ownership in the top-12 of their positions as well.

If the conditions in the forecast come to fruition at Arrowhead, we should lower our expectations for the implied total and both passing games. Ravens RB Mark Ingram and the Chiefs' lead back (McCoy is questionable) would benefit as a result.

Rashaad Penny inactive Sunday night; Chiefs to be without CB Kendall Fuller, Spencer Ware and Sammy Watkins

No real surprises with Sunday night inactives. The Chiefs won't have Kendall Fuller, a blow to their secondary which has already proven to be leaky, especially to the big play. Russell Wilson is a strong target this evening and can be stacked with Tyler Lockett and/or Doug Baldwin. Chris Carson is also in a great spot without Penny in the lineup, as he figures to only share work with passing-down back Mike Davis. Carson is best served in games where the Seahawks are in control, and if this one ends up being as high-scoring as it's projected to be, Carson should get in on the scoring action. Davis is a fine PPR punt play.
