John Wall and Alan Anderson are game-time decisions tonight in Detroit
John Wall has been upgraded to a game-time decision but is likely not going to play. Alan Anderson is also a game-time decision but is expected to play. Anderson is a risky low-end option on Friday. He has not played in the last nine games.
John Wall doesn't go through shoot around; status uncertain for tonight
Wall missed the team shoot around and is a game-time decision for tonight's game. Alan Anderson did take part and expects to play. If Wall were to sit again, Ramon Sessions becomes a top play at the PG position (his ownership would be sky-high, however, so there is merit to a GPP fade) and Bradley Beal receives a bump as well due to usage increase. We'll update you on Wall's status later tonight when we learn more.
Markieff Morris (calf) will play on Wednesday; Alan Anderson ruled out
Markieff Morris will play on the second night of a back-to-back. Morris was able to return value against the Warriors and should be able to do at least that much against the Kings. Morris' playing time has been erratic lately but he still is a viable tournament target with his asking price at $5k on DK. Alan Anderson has been ruled out, he will miss his sixth game in a row.
Alan Anderson misses shootaround, unlikely to play tonight
Alan Anderson isn't likely to play tonight after missing today's shootaround. He hasn't taken the court since March 19th and his presence doesn't really hold any DFS relevance.
Markieff Morris (calf) expected to be active on Tuesday; Alan Anderson (groin) to be out
Markieff Morris did not play on Sunday against the Lakers due to a calf strain. It seems as if he was able to play but took the precautionary route with the Wizards playing a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday. Morris should only be considered a tournament target against the Warriors on Tuesday. Look for an update confirming his status tomorrow. Nene will go back to the bench and is no longer a viable DFS option. Alan Anderson is expected to miss his fifth consecutive game.
Alan Anderson (ankle) ruled out for Friday
Alan Anderson will miss his seventh game in the last month due to ankle issues. Garrett Temple and Marcus Thornton have been splitting the backup SG minutes, making both extremely risky options on Friday. Bradley Beal is expected to play, making him a nice tournament play at his mid-range price.
Alan Anderson misses practice; questionable for tomorrow
Alan Anderson missed practice and appears as if he will miss another game for the Wizards when they play tomorrow. He hasn't been DFS relevant for a while, having not topped 20 minutes in quite some time. Bradley Beal and Garrett Temple will likely pick up his minutes if he sits. If anything changes regarding Anderson before tip-off tomorrow, we'll let you know.
Alan Anderson (ankle) ruled out for Wednesday
Alan Anderson will miss his second consecutive game due to his recurring ankle issues. There is currently no timetable for Anderson's return. Garrett Temple will soak up the minutes behind Bradley Beal, but he is a low-end play on a twelve-game slate. Bradley Beal has seen 30 minutes in three consecutive games, making him a tournament target against a tough Atlanta Hawks defense.
Bradley Beal to play on Monday; Alan Anderson (ankle) out
Bradley Beal (pelvis) will make his second consecutive start on Monday. Beal has been a volatile player all season, so he is only recommended to be used in tournaments. Alan Anderson has only played in one game out of his last four due to recurring ankle issues. Garrett Temple will play behind Beal but he is only an option if he can secure over 30 minutes.
Bradley Beal and Alan Anderson will both be resting on Thursday
Bradley Beal and Alan Anderson have both been ruled out of Thursday's contest with the Sixers. Garrett Temple will likely start in Beal's place and is a viable punt option. Temple's salary is only $3,300 on DraftKings and had 33 DKFP last night. While we can't project him to score that many again, Temple does provide some salary relief against a team ranked 18th in DvP against shooting guards.
