Lucroy joins Santana on bench against Fernandez

Jose Fernandez was already one of the top pitchers on tonight's slate, but the absence of some of the RH power for Milwaukee gives him even further upside, although Alex Presley has filled in well (121 wRC+ over the last week) during Santana's absence. Fernandez has been inconsistent this season and has not gone past six innings in a start, but has at least seven strikeouts in four of six starts with at least a 14 SwStr% in his last two (and four times overall). While not exactly the lock for dominance he's been the past, the upside is still tremendous against an offense with a 25.0 K% against RHP and the lowest projected run total on the board (2.82). It's going to be difficult to pair an $11K pitcher with Coors bats, but players might want some exposure to one of the top potential arms of the night.

Presley (149 wRC+ last seven days) serves up some cheap value in the two spot again

Timothy Adleman is a 28 year old 718th pick in 2010 with just one major league outing to his name. It may be that the Brewers know little about him as well, helping him to succeed tonight, but when you can't find anything written on Fangraphs about a player, there generally isn't going to be much success. Chris Carter continues to punish the baseball (193 wRC+ over the last week, 94.4 mph aEV on the season) and is averaging 247 feet on batted balls this year. Ryan Braun is a good hitter against RHP at home at a high cost ($5K on DK). Take a look at fill in Alex Presley in the two hole as a potential punt value play for the minimum price or close to it. He has a 149 wRC+ over the last week with a 38.5 Hard% and even just a single hit makes him worth the expenditure. Kirk Nieuwenhuis moves up in the lineup and has some pop (.174 ISO vs RHP since 2015) at a low cost (on FD). He has a 136 wRC+ over the last week.

Simon (.386 wOBA vs LHBs since 2015) averaging three innings per start

Alfredo Simon has been getting pummeled and is averaging just three innings per start. While he's not really getting anyone out this year, RHBs in particular have a .386 wOBA against him since last season. This makes Alex Presley in the two spot a great punt OF option for the minimum on DraftKings. He has a 38.5 Hard% over the last week. Switch hitter Jonathan Villar has not had a ton of success against RHP (98 wRC+ since 2015) and is more costly, but does have a 154 wRC+ over the last week. Braun, Lucroy, and Carter are equally expensive, but all have been above average hitters against RHP since last season with a wRC above 125 over the last week. Batted balls by Chris Carter are leaving the bat at an average of 94.6 mph this season.
