Second wind for Lightning veteran winger

With Vladislav Namestnikov in a bit of a slump, an opportunity has emerged for veteran Chris Kunitz who has joined Tampa Bay's top line with Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov. Kunitz costs next-to-nothing across the industry despite this advantageous role alongside Tampa's two superstars. Last time out, Kunitz potted a goal in 13 minutes of ice time, and the game before that, Kunitz picked up an assist in 16 minutes of ice time. While Kunitz's minutes are unstable, he is a fantastic source of salary relief for this short slate which features several stars worth paying up for, like the top line of the Dallas Stars. Take a chance with Chris.

Rare value opportunity on Tampa's top forward line

I admittedly haven't played him once yet this season and flat-out didn't expect to do so the rest way, either. But with news emerging that Chris Kunitz will join Nikita Kucherov and Steven Stamkos on the 'Bolt's top forward line, he's impossible to ignore. We saw Kunitz thrive as Sidney Crosby's wingman for years, and while he may have lost a step (or three), he still has the veteran where-with-all and shooting abilities to put up respectable offensive numbers given this new situation. We saw him log over 14 minutes of ice-time against Detroit on Sunday which would give him plenty of chances to easily pay off his bargain price-tag.
