Jordan Hill Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
Nemanja Bjelica (left foot) to miss the remainder of the season
Forward Nemanja Bjelica was diagnosed with a foot injury and it will cause him to miss the remainder of the season. Jordan Hill or Adreian Payne will likely be used as the backup forward but expect Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng to continue to play over 30 minutes. Shabazz Muhammad can also be slotted in as a small ball four. Bjelica was really starting to pick up his play of late but will have to wait until next year.
Ian Mahinmi (back) questionable for Game 4 today
Mahinmi has been dealing with a sore back for all of this series and has been listed as questionable today's game. Jordan Hill will likely get back into the rotation if Mahinmi is limited and will be an under-owned player after only playing a total of four minutes so far in this series. Myles Turner started the second half of Game 3 for Lavoy Allen and could start in Game 4 for Allen or Mahinmi. We should have an update soon with the Pacers playing in the first game of the day.
Lavoy Allen confirmed as the starter for Saturday
Allen will join the starting lineup on Saturday against the Sixers. Lavoy Allen is a viable punt option coming off 32.2 night Thursday. Myles Turner will go to the bench, losing all value. Jordan Hill is not in the rotation with Solomon Hill playing the backup PF.
Jordan Hill (personal) expected to be available tonight
Hill missed shootaround for personal reasons but is expected to play tonight against the Pelicans. He'll likely see his 17-21 minutes of court time behind Ian Mahinmi and Myles Turner, but Hill isn't DFS viable while both are healthy. Paul George and Monta Ellis are the two top options on the Indiana side, while the other members of the starting five are better utilized as deep-GPP targets.
Everyone available for Indiana Pacers tonight
Only Jordan Hill is listed on the injury report for the Pacers as they prepare to take on the New Orleans Pelicans and he is probable - which means everyone should be available to play in a game that has the second highest total of the night. If anything changes before tip-off, we'll let you know as soon as we hear of it.
Ian Mahinmi, Ty Lawson questionable for Saturday
If Mahinmi isn't able to go tomorrow, both Jordan Hill and Myles Turner will provide solid value as the minutes for both would become much more secure. Turner was a huge letdown on Thursday night, but he ran into early foul trouble and never was able to dig his way out of that. He's an excellent bounce-back candidate in the event that Mahinmi isn't able to return. Jordan Hill's price across the DFS industry remains far too low if he's anointed the starter on Saturday. Lawson's absence (or presence) doesn't have any DFS impact.
Jordan Hill to start for Ian Mahinmi
Jordan Hill has been confirmed as the replacement starter for Ian Mahinmi. If Hill can secure 30 minutes, he should be able to exceed value with his salary listed at $3,900 salary on both major sites. Myles Turner and Lavoy Allen should also see a boost in value with Ian Mahinmi out of the lineup.
Ian Mahinmi officially ruled out
Ian Mahinmi (back) has been officially ruled out. Jordan Hill is expected to start in his place. Look for an update soon confirming Hill in the starting lineup.
George Hill and Jordan Hill questionable for Tuesday; Ty Lawson ruled out
George Hill is battling a toe injury and if he is ruled out, Monta Ellis could start with Ty Lawson also out. Ellis is an extremely difficult spot with the Celtics ranked 1st in DvP against PGs. Jordan Hill's injury has not been disclosed but if he misses the game, Lavoy Allen would be the only healthy big off the bench.
Lavoy Allen ruled out Monday
Allen will not play Monday due to a sore left knee. In his absence look for Jordan Hill and Myles Turner to potentially take on bigger roles, but neither player is a recommended DFS option against a very tough Spurs defense. Turner has taken a huge step back since Ian Mahinmi returned and hasn't exceeded double-digit FPs in either of his past two games. Meanwhile, Jordan Hill continues to be a very solid per-minute producer, but he's not likely to see enough of an uptick on Monday to make him DFS viable.
