Philip Rivers in concussion protocol
Rivers was apparently concussed trying to make a tackle after he threw an interception. He hasn't missed a game since 2006 but that streak could end this week. Beat writer Jack Wang believes Kellen Clemens would draw the start if Rivers isn't cleared to play. They host the Bills in Week 11, whose defense was embarrassed on the ground against the Saints, giving up 298 yards and six scores. Should Clemens get the nod, they'll likely try to hide him and ride Melvin Gordon's legs as much as they can.
