Mike Miller Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
Danilo Gallinari (thigh), Will Barton (ankle), Juan Hernangomez (ankle) ALL ruled out tonight
Gallinari, Barton, Hernangomez, and Mike Miller will not play in tonight's game against the Phoenix Suns. This will be the third consecutive game Gallianri will be sidelined with a right thigh injury. Wilson Chandler and Jameer Nelson started at small forward and shooting guard in the Nuggets previous game with the exact same injury scenario, so they will likely remain in the starting lineup for this contest. Chandler and Jamal Murray will continue to be the optimal targets on this Denver squad for all formats while the trio of Gallinari, Barton, and Hernangomez are inactive, as they have continued to crush value with their increased opportunity.
Tanaka should not fear the predictably left heavy Rays lineup
The Rays strike out 26.8 % of the time against RHP this year and Masahiro Tanaka is on the mound for the Yankees on Saturday which means the analytically driven Rays can construct a lineup full of lefties. Tanaka was about equally effective when facing both righties and lefties last year with wOBAs of 0.296 and 0.280, respectively, making Kevin Kiermaier and Corey Dickerson deceptively below average plays today. Look elsewhere unless you think Tanaka’s solid start to the 2016 is a mirage.
Nuggets starters: Mudiay, Harris, Mike Miller, Jokic, Nurkic
True to form, we have a last minute scratch with Mike Miller replacing JaKarr Sampson. Gary Harris will also play after being questionable all day with a groin injury. Nikola Jokic has the highest ceiling of the Nuggets big men but Jusuf Nurkic has the higher upside based on price.
Mike Miller may start for Nuggets on Wednesday
Mike Miller may start against the Blazers on Wednesday. He is not a viable DFS option and could send JaKarr Sampson to the bench. We should have an update later with the Nuggets playing in the second wave of games.
Mike Miller starting on Wednesday
The Nuggets are completely decimated by injuries and will turn to Mike Miller in the starting lineup. Mike Miller might get free tonight for some open shots against the Suns. He does not do much outside of scoring so he is tough to recommend. He is basically a minimum priced player and should be able to at least hit value.
