Mo Williams signing with the Sixers

The Sixers have been desperately searching for help at the PG spot, and Williams could act as a veteran presence on an otherwise young team. It's also possible that this move is strictly business - this signing gets the Sixers $2.2 million closer to the salary floor - so we'll have to see how the rotation shakes out during Williams' first few games with the team. Philly also has Chasson Randle on a 10-day deal at the moment, and he's probably still ahead of Williams for playing time behind the likes of T.J. McConnell and Sergio Rodriguez.

Mo Williams (knee) available to play Friday

Williams has not played this series but is available to play tonight in Game 4. Even if he does get into the game he is not a viable option. Williams has only played over ten minutes in one game so far in April. Kyrie Irving should still be considered a strong option but has salary has spiked to $8,000 on DraftKings, making him a 2nd tier option. The Cavaliers are only favored by 4.5 points so it is likely that Irving plays 34-36 minutes.

Mo Williams (knee) ruled out for Wednesday

Williams was questionable coming into tonight's game but has been ruled out. Mo Williams was not a viable DFS option even when he played. Kyrie Irving should be considered a strong cash game option coming off a spectacular Game 1. He will have heavy ownership in tournaments as well but with only three games on the slate, it's not the worst thing to deal with.

Kyrie Irving (rest) not on the new injury report for Wednesday; look for an another update

Originally the Big 3 were expected to rest but the updated injury report only shows James, Love, Smith, Shumpert, and Williams as out. It's still early in the day so this is a situation to definitely monitor. Irving has one of the highest ceilings of any player tonight with the Cleveland resting so many players. We'll be looking for an official update from the Cavaliers soon.

Mo Williams (knee) will play 10-12 minutes on Saturday

Mo Williams will play on Saturday after missing 16 consecutive games due to a knee injury. Williams is an extremely low-end option due to his minutes restriction. Williams will be used as Dellavedova's back up.

Mo Williams will not travel with the Cavs for the next two games

Williams will stay in Cleveland over the weekend to get treatment on his ailing left knee, so he'll miss the Cavs next two games against Toronto and Washington. He hasn't been playing much of a role lately with Kyrie Irving and Matthew Dellavedova both healthy, so this news doesn't have any real DFS relevance. Dellavedova will eat up any available minutes at PG behind Irving.

Iman Shumpert out; Mo Williams available for Cavaliers tonight

Shumpert continues to remain out with a shoulder injury while Williams will be available to spell Kyrie Irving off the bench. It's a slight bump in minutes for Matthew Dellavedova and J.R. Smith but not enough to be significant for DFS purposes. Williams is not in play due to not getting enough run off the bench.

Matthew Dellavedova (hamstring) out on Wednesday

Matthew Dellavedova has been ruled out with a hamstring injury for tonight. Mo Williams will likely get back into the rotation tonight in the absence of Dellavedova. Williams should be a solid punt option if the Cavs can blow the Hornets out. The Hornets are without Kemba Walker and have other players dealing with injuries as well. Williams is a risky GPP option due to the fact that he has only played a total of 20 minutes in the last eleven games.

Mo Williams available to play today

After missing the last two games to deal with family matters (his grandfather's funeral), Mo Williams is available to play today in the Cavaliers game against the Golden State Warriors. It's not DFS relevant news as Williams has fallen out of the rotation of late (he hasn't topped twenty minutes of playing time in over a month).

Mo Williams out for Cavaliers tonight

Williams did not travel with the team for their game with the Spurs for personal reasons and will not play tonight. He was out of the Cavs rotation anyway with the return of Kyrie Irving so the DFS impact is minimal.
