Kenneth Faried (back) ruled out for Nuggets Sunday; Roy Hibbert available to play

Faired left Denver's last game early after injuring his back. It's not yet clear who will start in his place, but his absence will be a boost to Wilson Chandler, Darrell Arthur, and Juan Hernangomez. Chandler is the most interesting fantasy option of the trio, especially if he gets the start. Hernangomez has started twice in February, scoring 27 points with six triples and ten rebounds in his first, but he struggled to three points and one rebound in his second. When Arthur starts, he generally sticks around 20 minutes of action, so he likely won't be a great option if he gets the nod. Roy Hibbert is available to make his team debut tonight, but he's not a viable fantasy play. We'll update when we get more information on Denver's plan.

Roy Hibbert not available tonight for Denver

Roy Hibbert had some flight issues and was not able to make it for Denver's game against Brooklyn tonight. Hibbert was not a DFS option to begin with and should be avoided until further notice. The Nuggets are pretty much healthy at every position and Hibbert was acquired for emergency purposes.

Denver's injury report for tonight

The Nuggets were healthy for last night's game against Sacramento but did not end up play Emmanuel Mudiay. The PG is available for tonight's game but it seems that Jamal Murray will be used behind Jameer Nelson at the point. Darrell Arthur also did not play but the team is listing him as probable. Kenneth Faried only played 13 minutes on his bum ankle but is also listed as probable. Danilo Gallinari played 30 minutes last night and seems to be over his groin issue. They've also listed him as probable and he is expected to start once again. Roy Hibbert was traded to the Nuggets at the deadline and he is being listed as questionable to play.

Roy Hibbert acquired by Denver Nuggets for second round draft pick

The Nuggets acquire some frontcourt depth as they have added the veteran center from the Bucks in exchange for a second round pick. The move has little relevance in terms of DFS impact.

Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert will NOT make their Bucks debut tonight

Hawes and Hibbert will not be available to play in tonight's game against the Phoenix Suns despite already being with the team in Arizona. Bucks head coach Jason Kidd stated that he preferred that the two big men get a full practice under their belts before seeing game action with their new team. It's difficult to project exactly how the frontcourt rotation will shake out once Hawes, Hibbert, John Henson, and Greg Monroe are all competing for playing time. Thon Maker is also in the mix for minutes off the bench, so clearly this is a situation to avoid going forward until we get a reasonable idea of Kidd's rotation. However, he's shown the willingness to change that up at a moment's notice consistently in the past.

Hornets and Bucks pull off three-person trade (Plumlee for Hawes/Hibbert)

It's a trade that doesn't have a lot of DFS impact (despite Hawes being a viable value option at times) as reports have surfaced that the Bucks have traded Miles Plumlee to the Hornets for Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert in what is likely a move made for financial reasons. It could open up a bigger role for Greg Monroe but that remains to be seen as he has thrived in his current placement in the rotation.

Cody Zeller OUT tonight for Charlotte

The Hornets big man will miss tonight's game against Portland and likely will sit out tomorrow night as well. It'll mean more playing time for the big man trio of Roy Hibbert, Spencer Hawes, and Frank Kaminsky with the latter two being viable DFS value options. The biggest boost according to CourtIQ though goes to Kemba Walker who averages .07 fpts/minute more with Zeller off the court. Walker already has a plus match up against the Blazers team that is bottom five in the league in fantasy points allowed per game.

Roy Hibbert starting for Cody Zeller again tonight

Zeller will not play in tonight's game against the New York Knicks after previously being listed as questionable on the Hornets' injury report with a quad contusion that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Roy Hibbert will draw the start at center in his place but is not a viable daily fantasy option. Additionally, Jeremy Lamb will be available to play off the bench, but there hasn't been any confirmation on whether he will actually see any playing time. Frank Kaminsky and Spencer Hawes will be the only true big men available for Charlotte behind Hibbert and both are viable tournament punts in an exploitable matchup with the Knicks' frontcourt defense.

Cody Zeller (quad) ruled out; Roy Hibbert starting in his place, Frank Kaminsky also available to play

Zeller will not play in tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors after previously being listed as questionable on the Hornets' injury report with a quad contusion. Roy Hibbert will draw the start at center in his place but is not a viable daily fantasy option. Additionally, Frank Kaminsky will be available to play off the bench, meaning that he and Spencer Hawes are the only available bigs for Charlotte. Both big men can be considered in tournaments but carry some risk considering Golden State may force the Hornets to play smaller than they would normally like.

Nicolas Batum and Cody Zeller ruled out; Jeremy Lamb and Roy Hibbert starting in their place

Batum and Zeller will not play in tonight's game against the Houston Rockets due to a hyperextended right knee and illness respectively. Jeremy Lamb and Roy Hibbert will be inserted into the starting lineup in their place. With Batum and Zeller unavailable, Lamb, Frank Kaminsky, and Spencer Hawes become viable value options across the industry, while Lamb is close to a must play on FanDuel given his extremely inexpensive price tag.
