TJ Warren (back) will play Tuesday; Ryan Anderson remains in starting lineup

Warren has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets after missing one game due to back spasms. Warren recently supplanted Ryan Anderson as the Suns starting power forward, but he’ll head back to the bench in favor of Anderson despite averaging 28.5 minutes in his first two games as a starter. The Nets rank towards the bottom of the NBA in pace this season, but Warren could still remain an intriguing tournament target if he’s not limited, as he owns a respectable 25.0% usage rate and is still averaging 1.00 DraftKings and 0.99 FanFuel points per minute despite his fluctuating role in Kokoskov’s rotation this season.

T.J. Warren will start ahead of Ryan Anderson on Wednesday

This move has been a long time coming for Phoenix, and Warren will finally receive the starting nod in Wednesday's matchup against the San Antonio Spurs over Ryan Anderson at power forward. Even off the bench, Warren was already seeing more minutes, so a change in role won't necessarily inflate his allotted playing time. With Isaiah Canaan sidelined, Ellie Okobo will start at point guard and was stellar in 30 minutes of action on Sunday following Canaan’s exit in the first quarter, which immediately vaults him towards the top of the board of value options on tonight’s slate. Okobo has recorded a modest 20.6% usage rate with Booker and Canaan off the court this season, but he’s still averaging 0.96 DraftKings and 0.87 FanDuel points per minute, thanks mainly to a significant increase in his assist rate in this scenario,

Ryan Anderson is listed as probable Saturday despite his hip injury. Look for Anderson to see his usual minute allotment, and possibly see a few more shots in the absence of Devin Booker.

Will the Minutes Be There?

Ryan Anderson came back from a long injury spell with an ankle injury, and he was limited intentionally in the Timberwolves series to 12-16 minutes a game. Aow after a few more days of rest, could he be a 20-24 minute guy? The Jazz present Ryan Anderson an opportunity to serve as a stretch four against Derek Favors or cover a Jae Crowder or Royce O'Neale when they play the small ball four. This is risky, but on a slate without many GPP value options, Anderson can be the guy that helps you fit LeBron and Oladipo into your teams.

Ryan Anderson will return to the Rockets lineup for Game 3 against Minnesota. Anderson hasn’t played since April 3rd, when he injured his ankle. Anderson isn’t a preferred target from tonight, as he will likely see between 16-20 minutes tonight. With Anderson returning, PJ Tucker and Gerald Green will lose some minutes.

As expected, the Rockets will once again be without Ryan Anderson for game 2 tonight versus Minnesota. Anderson hasn't played since April 3rd with an ankle injury. It sounds like Anderson may be ready to go on Saturday.

The Rockets will be without Ryan Anderson for Game 1 versus Minnesota, as he's still recovering from an ankle injury. With Anderson not playing, P.J. Tucker and Gerald Green will see some extra minutes.

Ryan Anderson out, Eric Gordon questionable

Ryan Anderson (ankle) is out tonight against Sacramento, and Eric Gordon (ankle) is questionable. Houston has nothing to play for tonight, but you have to assume Harden and CP3 will play close to normal minutes, barring any more news. Expect Gerald Green to see a slight uptick in minutes if Gordon is out. RotoGrinders' projections has Tucker and Green at 24 minutes tonight - Green's figure would rise if Gordon sits.

Ryan Anderson (sore hip flexor) remains out Monday

Anderson will remain out and is listed as such on the latest version of the Houston Rockets' updated game notes for Monday's game against the San Antonio Spurs due to a sore right hip flexor that has now forced him to miss eight consecutive games. Meanwhile, James Harden will make his return to the starting lineup after missing Sunday's front end of the back-to-back set due to a sore left knee, which will send Eric Gordon back to the bench to resume his normal reserve role after easily exceeding salary-based expectations in 30 minutes of action in his spot start. The Rockets and head coach Mike D'Antoni have yet to have their entire rotation healthy since Joe Johnson was signed away from the Utah Jazz via the buyout market, and in Anderson's absence, Johnson and Luc Mbah a Moute have combined to assume his minute allotment with the second unit, while P.J. Tucker has continued to start at power forward and is averaging just under 29 minutes per game during that span.

Ryan Anderson (sore hip flexor) ruled out Monday

Anderson has officially been ruled out and won't play in Monday's game against the Utah Jazz after previously being listed as questionable on the Houston Rockets' injury report with a sore left hip flexor. The Rockets will also be without Clint Capela, Eric Gordon, and Brandan Wright, leaving them shorthanded at several positions and enables Tarik Black to enter the rotation and start at center in Capela's place. Meanwhile, Nene will be available to play off the bench following a one-game absence due to planned rest on the front end of this back-to-back set in Sunday's win. Gerald Green was a DNP-CD last night, compared to the 28 minutes that were allocated to recently-signed Joe Johnson in the wing rotation, even with Trevor Ariza playing 32 minutes in his second game back from a lengthy absence due to a hamstring injury. That said, Green will more than likely be forced into a significant role with the second unit in tonight's contest given the Rockets' overall lack of depth due to the aforementioned player ailments.
