RB James Conner ruled out for Week 14 with ankle sprain
The Steelers released new information about their RB1's injury today, sharing that it was "more serious than their initial read" and describing it as an ankle sprain, not a leg contusion. Mike Tomlin has since announced that the Steelers intend to use a running back committee in Conner's absence but Jaylen Samuels is likely to be the snap leader by a significant margin after proving to be productive in breathers for Conner over the past few weeks, particularly in the passing game. Veteran back Stevan Ridley could also become relevant again in early down situations. Samuels is only $4,600 on FanDuel and $3,700 on DraftKings this week and should be a lock to a hit value against Oakland's pushover defense.

With backup James Conner on the injured reserve, the Steelers signed Stevan Ridley on Monday. Le'Veon Bell will continue to see all the work he can handle, much like Conner, Ridley will have little to no fantasy value.
Michael Floyd activated for Week 5, Stevan Ridley released
Floyd will make his season debut tonight against the Bears. He'll likely operate as the fourth receiver though given his time away from the team while he served a suspension. Sam Bradford's primary targets will be Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, and Kyle Rudolph. Chicago currently ranks 31st in WR1 DVOA and they've given up the 11th-most fantasy points to receivers this season which sets up a nice spot for Diggs. On top of that, he's expected to square off with the Bears' weaker corner, Kyle Fuller. Heading into Week 5, he was targeted the fourth-most (30) and gave up the 13th-most yards total (220), 12th-most yards per cover snap (1.76), and had the sixth-worst cover snap per reception rate (6.9), per PFF. If Minnesota struggles to get their running game going tonight with Dalvin Cook sidelined, Bradford could go to the air quite a bit and should look for Diggs often.
