Tayshaun Prince starting for Zach LaVine tonight

Tayshaun Prince will be starting for Zach LaVine tonight and is still not a DFS option. Prince will likely play limited minutes but his presence does make LaVine a very risky option tonight. With ten games on the slate, LaVine does not have the huge upside we're looking for. LaVine will likely still play over 25 minutes but with Kevin Martin also back in the rotation, LaVine is too risky.

Zach LaVine to start for Tayshaun Prince tonight

Zach LaVine will start for Tayshaun Prince, who is out due to personal reasons. While this isn't a great match-up for LaVine, his playing time should lead to him exceeding value, especially on FanDuel where he's sitting at $4,800. He's playable in any format tonight and his outlook only improves with Kevin Martin also being ruled out tonight. LaVine should end up with 30+ minutes of court time.

Tayshaun Prince out tonight for personal reasons

Prince will miss tonight's game against the Raptors due to personal reasons. Prince himself is not a viable DFS option despite getting run as a starter on multiple occasions for the Timberwolves. However, his absence does open the door for more minutes for Shabazz Muhammad who at under $4K on both sites becomes a reasonable value option at SF despite a tough match up against Toronto (ranked 5th in SF DvP). Muhammad has put up 46.25 DK fpts in 39 minutes his last two games and if given the chance to play 30 minutes the potential to hit 5x or greater is certainly there.

Prince to remain in starting lineup, Kevin Martin not starting

Kevin Martin is available to play tonight but will not be inserted starting lineup for the Timberwolves. Kevin Garnett will also join Tayshaun Prince in the starting lineup after sitting out the last game. Gorgui Dieng will go back to the bench and will lose his elite punt option status. The Kings give up a lot of fantasy points in general so Dieng is still a solid option with Garnett only playing limited minutes. Prince is not really a DFS option at all and is likely only starting due to his length on Rudy Gay.

Tayshaun Prince to start tonight?

It's not going to make him a viable DFS play, but Tayshaun Prince may re-enter the starting lineup tonight. It's still partly speculation, but sources close to the T'Wolves have said it wouldn't be a surprise to see him get a start tonight. We'd guess that either Kevin Garnett or Kevin Martin would be removed from the starting lineup in favor of Prince, but we still wouldn't expect Prince to see upwards of 20 minutes even as a starter. If Kevin Martin was removed from the starting lineup, it would help Andrew Wiggins' outlook, as he'd be counted on more as a scorer when the starters are on the floor.
