Anders Bjork Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Second Line Value

If you're looking for value from a line stack tonight, consider taking Boston's second line which features David Krejci, Anders Bjork, and Jake DeBrusk. With eight points in his first five home games this season, Krejci and the second line draw a juicy matchup against the league's worst team in Arizona who have allowed the second most shot attempts and scoring chances on the road this season. Not required to play the "tough" minutes against the opposition's top scoring threats, Krejci should have no problems paying off his reasonable salary with the amount of offensive zone faceoffs he receives on home ice.

Injuries create opportunity for young winger

The Bruins are decimated by injury, and as such, Anders Bjork figures to get a steady diet of minutes as Brad Marchand has been ruled out tonight. Bjork has seen his minutes fluctuate throughout the season, but he has a prime opportunity to easily pay off his dirt-cheap salary tonight. In limited minutes this season, Bjork has flashed his potential and certainly skating with Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak on Boston’s top line adds to his value tonight. At just $4,000 on FanDuel, $4,400 on DraftKings and $9,000 on FantasyDraft, Anders is a solid source of saving salary tonight at Madison Square Garden.

This Boston winger falls as of the best dollar-for-dollar options on the board

With salary constraints in mind, Anders Bjork is one of my favorite plays on the board tonight. The 21-year-old is getting an opportunity to play alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand on Boston's top forward line and he made the most of it on Thursday night, scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist against the Vancouver Canucks. Bjork was an offensive force last season for Notre Dame where he owned 21 goals and 31 assists in 39 games with the Fighting Irish. He's dirt cheap across the industry and draws a matchup against a Buffalo team that has coughed up 3.88 goals per game this season. Pairing him with one of his linemates is an excellent way soften the overall cap hit.

Ideal playing partners for this 21-year-old

More than any other DFS sport, the quality of a players playing partners can create fantasy value all by itself; and that's exactly the case for Bruin's rookie Anders Bjork. With Patrice Bergeron expected to finally draw back into the Boston lineup this evening, Bjork will find himself playing alongside the dynamic duo of Bergeron and Brad Marchand on Boston's top forward line. The 21-year-old has scored a goal and added an assists in his five appearances this season and has a fine matchup awaiting him against an overmatched Vancouver Canucks squad. If you're thinking about using Bergeron and/or Marchand tonight, adding Bjork will greatly reduce the salary cap pain.
