Antonio Callaway Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Browns Waive Antonio Callaway

Callaway has been waived by the Browns. He reportedly has had multiple issues related to being late and is facing a 10-game ban from the NFL for an undisclosed violation of league rules. Higgins should benefit from Callaway departing.

Antonio Callaway (Benched - Coach's Decision) Expected to Return Next Game

Callaway was a surprise inactive last week. It is not clear why he was benched, but it has been confirmed that it was for just one game, meaning he should play Thursday vs Pittsburgh.

Browns WR Antonio Callaway is Inactive Today, Was not on Injury Report

Callaway is a surprise inactive and was not on the injury report this week. Look for the Browns to force targets to OBJ and Jarvis Landry against an elite Bills secondary.

Antonio Callaway Active, Rashard Higgins (Knee) Inactive Monday Night

Callaway will make his debut tonight after missing the first 4 games of the season due to suspension. He will fill the WR3 spot for the Browns. Higgins will miss his 4th straight game with a knee injury.

Rashard Higgins (Knee) Doubtful; Antonio Callaway Activated For Monday Night

Rashard Higgins is not expected to play Monday night for the Browns. Antonio Callaway has been activated after serving his 4 game suspension and is expected to play tonight.

Antonio Callaway (Suspension) to be Activated Today

Callaway will be activated today after serving his four game suspension to start the season. He is expected to step in and be the third WR, pushing Damion Ratley down a spot.

Antonio Callaway Returning From Suspension

Callaway has also been working back from an ankle injury, but he is expected to be healthy and ready to return. He will look to displace Damion Ratley as the third WR option.

Big Play WR Due for Breakout Performance

Very few wide receivers have squandered as many opportunities as Antonio Callaway has this year, but he oozes with upside in his week 14 matchup with the Panthers. You might even say he's due. Last week against the Texans, Callaway was targeted on a deep ball in the first half only to be tackled by the corner to prevent a touchdown. In the third quarter, he scorched past the Texans secondary for a 76 yard TD only to have it called back on a penalty. Then, just two plays later, he caught a deep ball from Baker Mayfield only to be tackled and stripped of the ball just before reaching the end zone. If any of those things break his way, we are looking at a much more popular play this week. His matchup against the Panthers this week is extremely exploitable too, as they are 31st in DVOA to #2 WRs and 27th vs. deep passes, Callaway's specialty. The Panthers struggle to create a pass rush as well , which should give Baker Mayfield enough time to hit Callaway for a deep ball this week and take you to the top of GPPs.

Antonio Callaway, Rashard Higgins both active Sunday

Antonio Callaway, Rashard Higgins both active Sunday, as expected. They'll slot in behind Landry and Njoku as options in the passing game for Baker Mayfield, but neither can be trusted outside of GPPs and they each carry considerable risk. The Browns offense will need to show out if they hope to keep pace with Kansas City, and there best shot is likely trying to feed Nick Chubb early and often.

Browns WRs Antonio Callaway (ankle) and WR Rashard Higgins (knee) are expected to be able to play today

Browns WRs Antonio Callaway (ankle) and WR Rashard Higgins (knee) are expected to be able to play today. We'll know sure here in a little under two hours, but expect Baker Mayfield to have his full complement of weapons heading into a home match-up with Kansas City. While the Chiefs have fared well against slot receivers (where Jarvis Landry spends most of his time), Callaway and Higgins are dart throws at best.
