Artemi Panarin Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
This centre was dominant in the season opener.
Mika Zibanejad put up four points in the season opening playing with his new linemates in Pavel Buchnevich and Artemi Panarin. Zibanejad also fired seven shots on net hitting not only the point bonus but the shot bonus too while being one block away from the triple bonus.
This line should dominate from puck drop
Columbus is another team playing tonight with playoff implications on the line. They secured their playoff spot last night with a shoot out win, but they are also looking to avoid Tampa Bay in the first round. Artemi Panarin, Cam Atkinson, and Matt Duchene draw a great matchup as they visit Ottawa. Ottawa has been a defensive disaster all season and there is no reason not to keep targeting against them. Zach Werenski is the power-play quarterback on the top unit that correlates with this potent line stack.
Look For This Winger to Continue To Do Well This Evening
Just because the Blue Jackets eliminated the Montreal Canadiens does not mean that they wouldn’t like to move into the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference to avoid playing the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round. Don’t get me wrong, the Washington Capitals will be no picnic either as they are the reigning Stanley Cup Champions. Artemi Panarin has been instrumental in the team going 6-1 over the last seven games as he has racked up three goals and six assists over that time frame. He also leads the team with 57 assists and 85 points while his line mate in Cam Atkinson leads the team with 41 goals this season. Although Columbus is the away team they are still playing the Ottawa Senators who have given up 35 goals in their last 10 games.
This upcoming UFA is going to want to end the season with a bang.
Artemi Panarin is going to be looking to hit a home run this season with a new contract, so with two regular season games left and at least one round of the playoffs (hopefully), these are the final games for him to leave his mark and get ready to get a massive contract. The Columbus Blue Jackets control their own fate with regards to their playoff hopes, and they just have to win and they're in. Panarin is playing on the top line with Cam Atkinson and Matt Duchene as they visit the New York Rangers. The Rangers have struggled over the last month as they've given up a 60.02 CA/60 which is the 7th most in the NHL and now take on a Blue Jackets team that needs to win.
This winger will need to be elite for his team to make the playoffs
Cam Atkinson has become one of the more underrated goal-scorers in the NHL. He's played primarily on the opposite side of Artemi Panarin with Pierre-Luc Duboic down the middle. The Columbus Blue Jackets are making their push for a Wild Card position and this line is going to be elite over the next few weeks to get in. They're taking on the New York Islanders, a team that has been one of the more elite teams for the most part this season with their goaltending saving them this season. However, the last four weeks haven't been pretty as the Islanders have a 30th ranked 45.09 CF% and given up a 60.48 CA/60 which is the 7th-most over that period.
This winger has become one of the most underrated goal-scorers
Cam Atkinson has 35 goals this season which puts him just inside the top-10. He has been a very underrated goal-scorer over the last few years and playing alongside talent like Artemi Panarin has certainly helped him take another leap. They'll be centered by Matt Duchene tonight. This line also plays on the top power play unit together which gives them elite upside and full-game correlation. The matchup against the New Jersey Devils would be a great one in general, but if you go take a look at the Devils lineup for tonight with all of their injuries, this is a premium matchup for a Columbus team looking to crawl back into the playoffs.
Line Possesses Slate-Breaking Upside
The Blue Jackets were surprise buyers at the trade deadline, adding Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel from the Senators. As of now, Duchene and Dzingel are expected to play together on the second line for tonight's matchup against the Flyers. DFS players love flocking to the fancy new toys, which could lead the #1 line of Pierre-Luc Dubois, Cam Atkinson, and Artemi Panarin to go overlooked. Atkinson and Panarin also see time on PP1, so they make a viable two-man stack without PLD. The Flyers have been hemorrhaging goals lately and were sellers at the deadline, indicating they might be waving the white flag on this season.
This center is off to a solid start on his new team
Matt Duchene has two points in two games for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He's centering the top line between Artemi Panarin and Cam Atkinson, and the entire line remains together on the top power play unit. This gives them elite upside as they have full-game correlation as the Blue Jackets host the Pittsburgh Penguins. Over the last month, the Pens have allowed 62.91 CA/60 which ranks 26th and their CF% of 48.07 ranks 24th. While the Blue Jackets possession numbers aren't great — their 51.81 CF% ranks 9th — it is still a plus-matchup for this line.
This upcoming UFA looks to be staying put
The Columbus Blue Jackets just went out and acquired Matt Duchene from the Ottawa Senators, so I think it is safe to say they are all-in this season. Thus, Artemi Panarin is in all likelihood staying put. Duchene is expected to play tonight (Columbus is in Ottawa, who would've thunk it?) for the Blue Jackets but that should not change this top line. Panarin has been playing with Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cam Atkinson on the Jackets top line and they've been great. They also all play on the top power play unit in their entirety which gives this line full-game correlation and elite upside against a Duchene-less Senators team — as well as Mark Stone and Ryan Dzingel both expected to sit again as they await to be traded.
This line will see plenty of high danger scoring chances
Artemi Panarin, Cam Atkinson, and Pierre-Luc Dubois will travel to Chicago to face the rejuvenated Blackhawks tonight. While Chicago has been hot and popular in DFS, I am looking at both teams in this one. Columbus may go under owned in a great spot. Despite the probability of facing Chicago’s top line, the Blue Jacket’s top line has multi goal upside. We know Chicago has not been stellar in defense/goaltending this year. In the past 30 days Chicago owns the highest HDCA/60 at 14.87. Expect Panarin and company to see convert on some of these chances. Adding Zach Werenski to the stack gives you a full power-play stack as well.
