The concussions for Gabriel and Braunecker make both doubtful for Thursday. Every concussion is different, but that would be exceptionally quick to clear the concussion protocol. Shaheen has missed three straight games, and he is unlikely to return unless his status improves tomorrow. Keep in mind that the injury report today is an estimated report, as the Bears did not hold an actual practice.

Shaheen will miss his third straight game Sunday, giving Braunecker at least one more start. Braunecker has 2 catches for 26 yards and 1 TD over the past two games.
Bears Activate TE Jesper Horsted
Undrafted rookie TE Jesper Horsted was activated by the Bears Wednesday. He's a converted WR that had 28 touchdown catches in college for Princeton, so he has pass catching abilities. Adam Shaheen's status isn't clear after he miss last week's game, and this move would make sense if the Bears expect him out again. Trey Burton is already on IR, meaning Horsted could be the TE alongside Ben Braunecker this week.
