Brandon Goodwin will start Saturday for the Cavs against the Washington Wizards. The cavaliers are severely limited on ballhandlers tonight and Goodwin should see a large amount of run. He is one of the top plays on the slate and can be considered in all DFS contests at just 4.2K on DK.

Brandon Goodwin (illness) questionable on Wednesday. This is noteworthy considering Darius Garland is also questionable. If both can't go, Rajon Rondo could be looking at a spot start. Stay tuned.

Cavs will start Goodwin, Okoro, Osman, Mobley and Allen on Friday. This is as expected as the Cavs used this lineup last game, so Goodwin and Cedi remain starters.

Cavaliers will start Brandon Goodwin at point guard on Wednesday. Cedi Osman had started at point guard last game but becomes a less appealing option now in the second unit. Goodwin becomes a strong option on both sites now as he's the minimum price on DraftKings and just $3,500 on FanDuel.

The Hawks have put a bunch of players on their injury report, which was expected as they prepare to play the Houston Rockets. If the Knicks win this afternoon, the Hawks will be locked into the five seed, rendering their game meaningless. This may be why Bogdanovic, Capela, Gallo, and Huerter were listed as questionable; it feels like they may be more doubtful than anything if the Knicks do end up winning their game. Trae and Snell were listed as probable, so perhaps they may get the start and then have their minutes limited. If the Knicks do end up losing the game, it could be a full go ahead for the Hawks in order to get the four seed. If the injured players sit, it would likely be plenty of minutes for reserves like Skylar Mays, Nathan Knight, and Okongwu. Once a starting lineup comes out, it'll give more clarity, but there's certainly volatility behind the Hawks minutes, especially if the Knicks win.

The Hawks will be down to eleven healthy bodies as they prepare to play the Philadelphia 76ers. Bogdanovic was downgraded from questionable to out due to a hamstring injury, while Goodwin was upgraded from questionable with an ankle injury and will play and may have to play hefty minutes. The Hawks have no Trae Young or Kevin Huerter, so they will be severely shorthanded in the backcourt. There's no CourtIQ data since they haven't played without all of these players all year, but there's a few clear winners. Goodwin could end up playing hefty minutes; even though he was injured, he'll likely have to play. Lou Williams may end up playing a lot off the bench, but he did miss time with an illness so there's a chance he gets limited. Skylar Mays should play backup PG mins, while Kris Dunn will have to play more than his 14 minutes last game. He's still on a restriction, so it's possible he doesn't get past 25 minutes, but there is certainly volatility. It makes sense that more usage would flow through the frontcourt; John Collins and Clint Capela may end up putting more shots, while Danilo Gallinari and Solomon Hill may be viable as well. Still, the guards and particularly Goodwin are great plays for this decimated Hawks team.

In a pretty big shock, Brandon Goodwin will not be starting for the Hawks; he'll be coming off the bench as the Hawks run with point Huerter/Bogdanovic. Okongwu does get the start and will be a great value at minimum price across the industry, while Solomon Hill joins the starting lineup but rarely produces per minute. Okongwu the biggest winner for sure of this lineup, while Goodwin the biggest loser as he won't be in line for his huge minutes. Collins also isn't as good of a play as he was had he been at center.
