Colby Cave Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Value on the top line in Beantown

Colby Cave hasn't done squat yet at the NHL level, but he showed offensive upside by scoring six goals and adding 12 assists in 15 games in the AHL prior to his promotion. He's slated to skate alongside the dynamic duo of Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak on the Bruin's top forward line, and that role alone makes him a fine value option. He logged nearly 20 minutes o of ice-time in Boston's last game and has a plus home matchup against the Detroit Red Wings awaiting him this evening.

This player is tied for the league lead in goals and has a premium matchup.

When you lead the league in goals (well, tied for the league lead) with 19 and you're taking on the New York Islanders who rank 26th with a 59.28 CA/60, you're probably going to have a good time. David Pastrnak has a pretty solid matchup here against the Isles who are giving up way too many chances. Pastrnak and Brad Marchand will have Colby Cave (who?) as their centre this evening and that is interesting, I guess. I'd likely look to go with a Pastrnak/Marchand mini-stack but Cave is still in play as he is a nice salary saver.
