Blues Newcomer Finding His Own

While John Tavares to the Maple Leafs was the biggest offseason addition, Ryan O'Reilly to the Blues flew slightly under the radar. O'Reilly is beginning to find his form with five points in his last two games. At even strength, he centers the second line with David Perron and Zachary Sanford. On the power play, he gets promoted to the number one unit with the likes of Vladimir Tarasenko. Tonight, he'll face Sergei Bobrovsky, who has an uncharacteristic 3.87 GAA this year through six starts.

Instant Chemistry For This Veteran Trio

If you're looking to differentiate your lineup without fading the league's biggest surprise in a great spot, consider the second line of Vegas which features veterans David Perron, Erik Haula, and the newly acquired Tomas Tatar. They draw a fantastic matchup against a hapless Vancouver team that has allowed the most scoring chances over their past 25 road games. Also featured on a red hot power play for Vegas, this trio should have no problems paying off their manageable salaries tonight against a Vancouver penalty kill that ranks 25th in the NHL this season.

Great Matchup For This Line

If you're looking to differentiate your lineup without fading the league's hottest team in a great spot, consider the second line of Vegas which features veterans James Neal, David Perron, and Erik Haula. With a combined 28 points over their last 10 games, this trio has found instant chemistry for the upstart Golden Knights. They draw a juicy matchup against one of the league's worst defensive team in Edmonton, who own the third worst adjusted xGA/60 over their past 15 games. Also featured on a red hot power play for Vegas, this trio should be very active on the man advantage tonight against an Edmonton penalty kill that ranks dead last in the NHL this season.

Look For This Line To Stay Hot Tonight

If you're looking to differentiate your lineup without fading the league's hottest team in a great spot, consider the second line of Vegas which features veterans James Neal, David Perron, and Erik Haula. With a combined 25 points over their last 10 games, this trio has found instant chemistry for Vegas this year. They draw a juicy matchup against the league's worst defensive team in the Islanders, who have allowed the second most shot attempts, the second most scoring chances, and own the league's worst adjusted xGA/60 since December 1st. Also featured on the top power play for Vegas, this trio should be very active on the man advantage tonight against an Islanders penalty kill that ranks 30th in the NHL this season.

Playing in Vegas has rejuvenated the career of this player

After jumping from team to team over the last few seasons, David Perron has settled in with Vegas this year. He's averaging just under a point per game with 17 points in 18 games, but he's been on fire lately with nine points in his last six games. Perron has been playing with Erik Haula and James Neal at even strength, and the trio stick together on the top power play unit. Although they have a tough matchup against the Kings who will be throwing Jonathan Quick in net, Vegas has been very successful at home. In their first eight home games in franchise history, the Golden Knights are 7-1-0 and averaging 4.38 goals per game. This isn't the easiest matchup in the world, but with Vegas' track record on home ice this season, they should be able to score a few.

Multi-Goal Potential At A Bargain

With the Washington Capitals, Toronto Maple Leafs and Dallas Stars looking like the top offenses to target, we are going to need to find some salary relief, as all three of these teams top lines are very expensive to roster. Although we can look to players like Zach Hyman, Jakub Vrana and Devante Smith-Pelly, all of these players lack power play time, making them a lot less appealing in cash games. So lets dig into some inexpensive options that see time on the power play. All three members of the Vancouver Canucks top line (Sven Baertschi, Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser) are certainly playable everywhere tonight. Not only are they moderate-to-low priced across the industry, they also have massive upside (as we saw Saturday night), and the Detroit Red Wings are a favorable matchup. Outside of the Canucks top line, we also have Jason Zucker and Kyle Connor. Both of these talented skaters play on their teams top line and number one power play unit, making them solid additions to your cash game lineup or as part of a line stack in GPPs. Lastly, we will look at the Vegas Golden Knights top two scoring lines. Sure, the Golden Knights have overachieved, but their offense is legit and the Maple Leafs are far from a defensive juggernaut. Both David Perron and Reilly Smith have multi-goal upside and they will not break the bank.

Number one center role offers opportunity

The Vegas Golden Knights are 3-0 and Cody Eakin is their top center on the depth chart. Eakin centers a line featuring David Perron and James Neal. James Neal has started the season with a bang, recording five goals in three games. While Eakin has not done much offensively, recording just one point on the season, the opportunity is there for the taking, especially while centering the team's top power play unit as well. Vegas is in a great spot tonight as the Detroit Red Wings played last night in Arizona. Petr Mrazek will start for Detroit, and last season was a disaster for the Czech netminder as he posted a 3.04 goals against average and abysmal .901 save percentage. Cody does not shoot too much, but he is almost the bare-minimum across the industry: FanDuel ($3,900), DraftKings ($4,300) and FantasyDraft ($8,500). Count on Cody to find at least an assist.
