Markieff Morris has been traded to the Wizards

The Suns have struck a deal with the Wizards and will move mercurial forward Markieff Morris for DeJuan Blair, Kris Humphries, and a protected first round pick. Morris will have to prove himself, but a change of scenery could return him to last year's form. Morris will not be available for tonight's game against the Jazz, but could play on Friday against the Pistons. It's still unclear how he'll fit in the Washington rotation with Nene Hilario and Marcin Gortat healthy, but he should have a chance to earn steady minutes. It may not come right away though, and he may not be in the starting lineup until he gets acclimated with his new team.

Nene (calf) out on Friday

Nene has been ruled out on Friday due to a calf injury which likely means that Drew Gooden will be the first big man off the bench. Jared Dudley has started the last three games but has seen his production decline along with his minutes. Dudley does posses 30 FPs upside but it is reliant upon his shot, making Dudley a tournament option only. Look for DeJuan Blair to also pick up some minutes tonight against the big frontcourt of the Sixers.

Kris Humphries ruled out, Blair GTD, and Gooden playing Friday

Kris Humphries (knee) will miss another game tonight and Drew Gooden will be returning from a two-game absence. Gooden will back up Marcin Gortat and likely not play more than 15 minutes. Gooden is not a DFS option and will need an injury in front of him to garner significant playing time. DeJuan Blair is a game-time decision but he also should not be in any DFS lineups tonight.
