Guice's season is over, as the Redskins are placing him on injured reserve. This move should boost Adrian Peterson's carries the most of the Redskins' RBs.
Derrius Guice Ruled Out for Sunday
Guice has been ruled out for the rest of the season after just 5 games this year. Adrian Peterson should take on a heavier load running, while Chris Thompson will remain the receiving back.

Peterson has been dealing with this toe injury for weeks, and he was able to practice fully Wednesday. This day off Thursday is likely related to rest. Unless we hear otherwise, Peterson will play Sunday.

Peterson and Thompson are both questionable but likely to play. The Redskins could have their RB trio of Peterson, Thompson and Derrius Guice healthy for the first time this season. That is good for the Redskins' offense but tough for DFS players, as predicting touches will be tricky.
Chris Thompson (Toe) Limited in Practice Wednesday
Thompson took a step back towards returning from his toe injury that has kept him out since Week 6. His limited status Wednesday opens the door to a possible return this week, although he will now have to compete with Derrius Guice as well as Adrian Peterson for touches.
Value RB Worthy Of A GPP Flier
Derrius Guice is returning from the IR this week for the Redskins after suffering an injury week 1. Limitations could be expected here in this one, but the Redskins have been a very run heavy team since the firing of Jay Gruden, and with Chris Thompson out, Guice could be able to carve out a nice role in this one.

Thompson has been ruled out Sunday, his fourth straight missed game. The Redskins got some help at RB this week with Derrius Guice returning from IR.
