NEP RB Devine Ozigbo elevated from practice squad for Saturday

Devine Ozigbo was elevated from the practice squad for Saturday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. If Brandon Bolden is active then Ozigbo would serve as depth at the running back position and not be a viable DFS option in Showdown contests. If Bolden is inactive then Ozigbo could be worth a look in Showdown though he would be behind the clear workhouse back in Rhamondre Stevenson.

JAC RB Devine Ozigbo and TE Jacob Hollister listed inactive Sunday

Devine Ozigbo and Jacob Hollister have been listed inactive Sunday for the Jaguars matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. Ozigbo was expected to serve as running back depth if James Robinson was unable to play but with Robinson active Ozigbo won't be needed. Hollister was expected to serve as tight end depth but his absence should not be DFS relevant.

JAC TE Jacob Hollister, WR Tyron Johnson, and RB Devine Ozigbo listed inactive for Sunday

Jacob Hollister, Tyron Johnson, and Devine Ozigbo have all been listed inactive for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Hollister would have been the fourth tight end behind Dan Arnold, Luke Farrell, and Chris Manhertz so he was not needed, and his absence is not important to DFS players. The same can be said for both Johnson and Ozigbo who would have provided depth at the receiver and running back positions respectively.

RB Devine Ozigbo claimed off waivers by Jacksonville from New Orleans

Devine Ozigbo has been claimed off waivers by Jacksonville from the New Orleans Saints. Ozigbo should provide depth at running back for the Jaguars with James Robinson's status in question due to a foot injury. The Saints didn't need Ozigbo anymore after their trade for Mark Ingram last week. As of now it does not seem as though Ozigbo should be DFS relevant as Carlos Hyde seems like the most likely candidate to lead the Jaguars backfield if Robinson is forced to miss time.

Saints to sign RB Devine Ozigbo off Jaguars' practice squad

The New Orleans Saints plan to sign RB Devine Ozigbo off the Jaguars' practice squad pending a physical after the injury to Tony Jones Jr. was confirmed earlier in the day (expected to miss 3-4 weeks). Ozigbo was originally signed by the Saints in 2019 so the organization is familiar with him and we would think Ozigbo would be able to pick up the offense quickly having already been in the system. This seems to be a short term solution as the Saints worked out 4 other running backs earlier in the day and will likely sign one or more of them to the practice squad in hopes of them being ready for next week. Ozigbo and Dwayne Washington should back up Alvin Kamara though neither should be DFS relevant. It is a possibility that Kamara sees a few more snaps without a trusted backup and can be considered a slightly stronger play this week against the Washington Football Team.

James Robinson reportedly ruled out for Sunday

James Robinson has reportedly already been ruled out for Sunday. The Jaguars' RB situation now is almost a complete mystery, with Robinson essentially handling all the work so far this season. Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo are the two top active backs, and Nathan Cottrell will also be active. Playing any RB here will have a lot of risk, but there is some nice value if you're able to pick the right back.

Dare Ogunbowale inactive Sunday

Dare Ogunbowale is inactive Sunday, which will open up a few targets in the passing game. James Robinson will continue to dominate RB rushing attempts, while Devine Ozigbo could get some passing game work. The Jaguars offense could struggle today, with both DJ Chark and Chris Conley out and Mike Glennon playing QB.

Jaguars Chris Thompson placed on COVID-19 reserve list

Chris Thompson has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, ruling him out for Week 7. This should mean James Robinson will get all the work he can handle. Devine Ozigbo and Dare Ogunbowale will work behind Robinson, but they're unlikely to receive any type of real work.
