ATL WR Frank Darby is elevated from the practice squad for Sunday.
ATL WR Frank Darby is elevated from the practice squad for Sunday.
ATL WR Frank Darby inactive Sunday
Frank Darby is inactive Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Darby was expected to serve as receiver depth so his absence will not be DFS relevant.
ATL TE Kyle Pitts, WR Frank Darby, and RB Qadree Ollison all listed questionable for Sunday
Kyle Pitts, Frank Darby, and Qadree Ollison have all been listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Pitts said to media members that he will play this weekend and has a shot to break the rookie tight end record for receiving yards. However, if Pitts were unable to go this weekend, Hayden Hurst would likely step into the primary tight end role with Lee Smith and Parker Hesse available to back him up. Hurst would need to be considered in DFS contests as a value option in an offense that heavily relies on its tight ends in the passing game. Darby is expected to serve as receiver depth and his potential absence would not be DFS relevant. The same could be said for Ollison who is expected to serve as running back depth.
ATL WR Russell Gage and WR Frank Darby ruled out for Sunday
Russell Gage and Frank Darby have both been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the New York Giants. With Gage out Calvin Ridley becomes even more of an obvious number one option in the passing game followed behind by Kyle Pitts, who should both dominate the target share for the Falcons. Olamide Zaccheaus will likely slide into the WR2 role and can be considered as a value option this Sunday but the main plays are Ridley and Pitts.
ATL RB Wayne Gallman and WR Frank Darby inactive
Wayne Gallman and Frank Darby will be inactive when the Falcons take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Mike Davis will lead the backfield with Cordarrelle Patterson set to back him up. Calvin Ridley, Kyle Pitts, and Russell Gage should dominate the target share in the passing game.
