Brandon Bolden, Gunner Olszewski, and Nick Folk listed questionable for Monday's game against the Buffalo Bills. If Bolden were to miss the backfield would likely be split between Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson making them both viable plays on the showdown slate. Olszewski is not expected to play a major role on offense for the Patriots but plays a crucial role as a returner on special teams, though this isn't very relevant for DFS purposes. Nick Folk has been listed as questionable the past few weeks and has been able to suit up for every game so this is likely to be the case again on Monday, though the expected weather will make it difficult to confidently roster kickers.

Damien Harris and Gunner Olszewski have not been listed on injury report for Thursday meaning they have cleared concussion protocol, while Brandon Bolden, N'Keal Harry, Jonnu Smith, and Nick Folk have all been listed questionable. Harris should return to his role seeing the bulk of the work in the Patriots backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson and Bolden (questionable) also mixing in. Olszewski should return to his role on special teams and does not figure to be DFS relevant. If Jonnu Smith were unable to suit up Hunter Henry would once again be in line to play almost all of the tight end snaps and play an important role in the Patriots passing attack, he would need to be considered on the showdown slate. Nick Folk has been listed questionable ahead of multiple games this season but has always been able to play so this is the expected outcome for Thursday. If a kicker is elevated from the practice squad tomorrow though that would be cause for concern.

Harris should return to his role as the primary back for New England while splitting snaps with Rhamondre Stevenson (coming off a huge game in Harris's absence Sunday) and Brandon Bolden. Harris could see a slightly lighter workload than normal coming off an injury and a short week making Stevenson and Bolden better plays. It will be important to monitor Harris's practice status and his listing on the injury report released tomorrow. Olszewski should return to his role on special teams while also providing depth at the wide receiver position.

With Harris out it is expected that Stevenson (if available) would handle much of the early down work while Brandon Bolden would handle the passing down work. Both Stevenson and Bolden should see a significant amount of work and be considered viable value plays though there is already a lot of value available at the running back position this week. It is also worth noting that J.J. Taylor will also be available for the Patriots and should mix in as well in the backfield.

Harry practiced in full on Friday, but he's still been listed as questionable on the Patriots' injury report for Sunday's matchup against the Miami Dolphins due to a shoulder injury. Despite the injury designation, Harry is fully expected to play in Week 1, something that can't be said for Olszewski, who won't play in the season opener, and his absence should clear the way for Damiere Byrd and Jakobi Myers to see all the routes on the outside opposite of Harry this weekend. However, the aforementioned duo would be fourth options, at best, in the New England offense since the running back committee, Harry, and Julian Edelman are firmly ahead of them in the pecking order for targets from Cam Newton.
