Harri Sateri Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

This goalie has had a roller coaster of a start to his career

Harri Sateri has just eight career games under his belt, and this is certainly a risky play, but it is a calculated risk worth taking. In his five games in January, Sateri struggled with a 1-3-0, 3.75 goals against average and a .899 save percentage. However, February has been different. In three games, he is 3-0-0 with a 1.67 GAA and .943 SV%. The Los Angeles Kings are in Florida tonight, but they have not exactly been an offensive team to be worried about. They sit 21st in the NHL in goals for and have really struggled to put the puck in the net without Jeff Carter as their scoring depth is minimal. With the Panthers on a four game winning streak, all thanks to Sateri, this is an interesting spot in tournaments to hopefully get a low-owned goaltender with high upside.

Finding a diamond in the rough in net

Outside of Connor Hellebuyck, options in net tonight are hard to come by. Sure there is Tuukka Rask, but he is expensive and on the road against a Detroit team that can be a pain to contain. Carter Hutton has been lights out, but his price has come up accordingly and matchups between the Blues and Wild always seem to be coin flips. Sateri has yet to be confirmed, but he checks in as the second largest favorite in Vegas tonight. Sateri is cheap across the industry, particularly on FanDuel ($7,400), and makes for a worthwhile option in tournaments in order to load up elsewhere. After three poor starts where he allowed 4, 6 and 4 goals, Sateri has settled in nicely allowing just 1, 2 and 2 goals. Vancouver has struggled on the road, especially recently, and they likely will have issues containing Florida's top two lines which have played well now that they're healthy again. Harri seems a good bet to see at least 30 shots while allowing two goals or less for his fourth consecutive start. Satteri is too risky for cash, especially with Hellebuyck available, but he is a fantastic tournament option.
