Cheap Goalie Has Been Lights Out at Home
Most thought the loss of Jonathan Quick would be devastating for the Los Angeles Kings, but Jack Campbell has filled in admirably so far this season, especially at home. While tending the twine at the Staples Center, Campbell is 4-1-0 with a 2.32 GAA and .922 SV%. In his last two starts (both at home), he's allowed a total of two goals on 58 shots. He even registered his first career assist on Tuesday night, a nice bonus for fantasy players. The biggest risk for Campbell is his chance of getting the win. Vegas has installed the Kings as -115 favorites, which is essentially a coin flip. Personally, I think the Kings get it done behind another great performance from Campbell.
Kings' goalie looks to bounce back against timid offense
The New York Islanders were able to spoil the shutout attempt of John Gibson last night, and now they have another tall task ahead of them with the Los Angeles Kings. The Islanders have struggled to generate much offense this season with the departure of John Tavares, and it seems unlikely they will get anything going tonight. While Jack Campbell struggled in his last two starts, prior to that he was brilliant, tallying 36/38, 37/39 and 40/40 saves. The Kings check in as a moderate favorite, and Campbell's price is reasonable on both DraftKings ($7,800) and FanDuel ($8,100) given the likelihood of the victory for the home team.
**Edit @ 1:45 - Jonathan Quick looks like he will return tonight as he was in the starter's crease this morning, so consider him instead of Campbell at a similar price tag**
