Jakub Voracek Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

This centre has been on fire as of late.

With 6 goals and 15 points in his last 14 games, Sean Couturier has been putting up solid offensive numbers as of late. Additionally, his 41 shots in these 14 games lead the team. He'll be playing on the Philadelphia Flyers second line with Jakub Voracek and Oskar Lindblom, and is on the second power play unit. Voracek plays on the top PP unit, but Lindblom is on the second unit with Couturier which makes them an interesting two-man mini-stack. However, the most upside is with stacking this entire line together.

This centre has an intriguing set of wingers tonight.

Sean Couturier will be centering Jakub Voracek and Michael Raffl tonight on the Philadelphia Flyers second line. Raffl is dirt-cheap which makes this line very affordable. Couturier has been on fire as of late with 12 points in his last 10 games and while Voracek's 6 in his last 10 aren't great, this line shake-up could help spark some offence. They are visiting the Calgary Flames who will have Mike Smith between the pipes. Smith has struggled this season with a 2.88 goals against average and abysmal .894 save percentage.

Even on a back to back, this line is in an elite spot.

The Philadelphia Flyers are on a back to back, but taking on Ottawa is far from a tall task. The Senators project to be one of the worst teams in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers having playoff hopes. The top line has been stacked with Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek and Sean Couturier — a trio that remains together on the top power play unit which gives them elite upside. Additionally, Giroux has four assists in three games and fired six shots on net.

A stacked top line has been reunited in Philadelphia

With Claude Giroux, Sean Couturier and Jakub Voracek being reunited as the Philadelphia Flyers top line, there is plenty of upside for them tonight. They host the San Jose Sharks who are on the tail-end of a back to back and are without Joe Thornton for the foreseeable future. Additionally, this trio stick together on the top power play unit for the Flyers which gives them even more upside. Giroux only has two shots and two assist through two games, but there is reason to believe that tonight is a fantastic spot for him and his linemates to get going offensively.

Value Line Stack In Great Home Matchup

Two seasons removed from a rough offensive output in which he scored just 11 goals on a career-worst 5.2 SH%, veteran sniper Jakub Voracek has rebounded nicely with 79 points in 74 games this season. Skating alongside talented young playmakers Nolan Patrick and Oskar Lindblom on Philadelphia's second line, Voracek should be on your radar tonight taking on a Rangers squad that has surrendered the most shot attempts and owns the league's worst xGA/60 over their past 15 games. With the majority of his production coming on home ice this season, Voracek should be the focal point of Philadelphia's offense tonight in a game where home ice advantage will allow head coach Dave Hakstol to keep his best scoring threat away from New York's top line at even strength, making him a solid option to target in a game Philadelphia should have no problems finding the back of the net in.

Seven game scoring streak on the line for this Philly winger

With his 11th goal of the season in Thursday Night's win over the Montreal Canadiens, Vorcek extended his scoring streak to seven games and has racked up three goals and seven assists in the process. Voracek now leads the Flyers with 63 points in 54 games and has a dream matchup against an Arizona team that has surrendered a Western Conference worst 3.43 goals against per game this season. His 27 power-play points is the fifth best mark in the NHL this season which should bode well for him considering Arizona's sub-par 79.6% penalty kill.

This winger is back in the elite tier of NHL players

Jakub Voracek is back among the elite NHLers again, as he has been dominant this season. He has put up eight goals and 41 points in 33 games this season, which is tied for fifth in the NHL. He looks to continue that dominance tonight at home against the Detroit Red Wings. He started the year with Sean Couturier and Claude Giroux and the line was one of the best in the NHL. Over the last couple weeks, Voracek has been placed on the second line with Valtteri Filppula and Michael Raffl to try and balance out the scoring. It has worked, as Voracek has 12 points in his last nine games and his linemates have also seen a big uptick in point production. This line is a great tournament stack on this small three-game slate because most will flock to the top line, but you could garner much lower ownership on this line stack which is advantageous in large field GPP's.

Multi-Point Night On Deck?

The Philadelphia Flyers have the second highest projected goal tonight on this three-game slate, and exposure to their top line is a must this evening in all formats. The Flyers top line (Claude Giroux, Sean Couturier, Jakub Voracek) has been absolutely lethal this season, consistently producing while posting some monster games in the process. The Vancouver Canucks are not a bad defensive team, but they are one of the weaker teams in action tonight, and I think we see the Flyers control this game from puck drop, with their potent top line registering another multi-goal game.

Power Play Stack Leverage

If you want to pick on the league's worst overall team, consider loading up on Philadelphia's top power play unit. Currently ranked ninth in power play percentage, Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Filppula, and Provorov should be very busy on the man advantage tonight against an Arizona penalty kill that ranks dead last in the NHL this season. They won't be cheap, and will certainly garner their fair share of ownership, but loading up on all five skaters can give you the leverage you're looking for in tournaments if they all chip in on each other's power play goals.

This line could be a sneaky GPP stack

Claude Giroux has been playing the wing in preseason and has been dominating. Playing alongside Sean Couturier and Jakub Voracek, this could be a very sneaky line on opening night. With superstars like Crosby, Malkin, McDavid, Matthews, Laine, etc. all playing, this could be a line that gets overlooked. The Sharks are another year older and last season, Martin Jones slowly got worse as the season went on. From November to March, Jones saw his goals against average and save percentage get worse as each month went by. This was likely due to fatigue, but if he starts the season slow, the top line on the Flyers could be in line for a big night. These three could also stay together on the top PP unit as somebody needs to replace Schenn (it could be Couturier). This line should be very low owned and I think they have almost as much upside as any other line on the slate.
