Jalen Harris has been ruled out Sunday ahead of the Raptors matchup with the Indiana Pacers. The short-handed Raptors will be even more short-handed without Jalen Harris and this will likely force Gary Trent Jr. into the rotation and probably the starting lineup. If Trent who has not played the last few games despite being active (same with Chris Boucher) does not play again Flynn and Bembry will be the only available guards for the Raptors and likely play over 40 minutes. The Raptors offense will be run through Malachi Flynn, Stanley Johnson, and Trent (if he plays) although all Raptors should see a large amount of run.

Yuta Watanabe has officially been listed out Friday while Jalen Harris who was listed as doubtful earlier in the day will be available for the Raptors when they take on the Dallas Mavericks. This brings the Raptors available players up to nine but there have been some murmurings that Chris Boucher and Gary Trent could only be used in emergencies so we will have to see what happens. Malachi Flynn, Jalen Harris, and Stanley Johnson (who had an incredible night last night) should be top considerations but all Raptors should see a large amount of playing time tonight due to the lack of available bodies.

Yuta Watanabe and Jalen Harris are considered game-time decisions Friday after being listed as doubtful on the injury report earlier in the day. The Raptors are currently at eight available bodies without Yuta or Harris so if they were to be made available it would effect much of the value that is currently available strictly due to playing time. Both Yuta and Harris would be in line to see 20 minutes or so each if they were cleared to play with no restrictions. The offense should be run through Malachi Flynn, Gary Trent Jr., and Stanley Johnson (who had an incredible night last night) but Coach Nurse has been very inconsistent with his rotations.

Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, and Rodney Hood are listed as out while Jalen Harris and Yuta Watanabe are listed as doubtful ahead of the Raptor's game Friday against the Dallas Mavericks. It was expected for many of the Raptors veterans to be resting at this point in the season but some of the younger players included on the injury report were a surprise. This leaves the Raptors with eight available players (if Harris and Wantanabe are officially ruled out later) so once again the Raptors will be a good option when looking for value pieces. The challenge will be deciding which pieces to roster as we have seen Nick Nurse be inconsistent with playing time all under the guise of experimentation. Malachi Flynn, Gary Trent Jr., and Stanley Johnson (who had an incredible night last night) should be top considerations but all Raptors should see a large amount of playing time tonight due to the lack of available bodies.

The Raptors seemingly two best value plays (Trent and Boucher) both aren't starting, making them both incredibly risky plays. Jalen Harris and Flynn will start at guard, and both will be tremendously popular. Yuta gets the start at forward, and may pay off a cheap price tag as well. Boucher and Trent become incredibly risky as a result.

The Raptors will continue to sit their top players, as they prepare to play the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lowry, Siakam, VanVleet, and Anunoby will all sit tonight, as well as Harris. Trent has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury, but he will be back in the rotation tonight as he is not on the injury report. We've seen a few changes to the Raptors as they've had multiple regulars sitting in the last few games. CourtIQ has limited data with all of the players off the floor, but we should have a good idea on the minutes. Malachi Flynn will start at point guard again, and should be forced to play minutes in the mid thirties. Trent missed the last two games, but averaged 35 minutes in the previous five games he played, and should play heavy minutes again. Paul Watson and Chris Boucher should play at the forward positions, while Khem Birch will start at center and split minutes with Freddie Gillepsie. The Raptors will have eleven healthy bodies, but Aron Baynes isn't projected to play and hasn't since Gillepsie came to the team. Flynn, Boucher, Birch, Trent, and Watson should start for the team, and are likely the best options against a Thunder team that is reeling.

Coach Nurse confirmed what we were expecting based off the most recent injury report as the Raptors prepare to play the Orlando Magic. VanVleet and Bembry are both able to play, while Harris and Trent were downgraded from doubtful to out. VanVleet is back after missing seven games, and he will likely dominate production. In a sample of only 74 minutes with Lowry, Siakam, Anunoby, and Trent off the floor, VanVleet averages 1.70 FPM with a 44% usage and a 47% assist rate per CourtIQ. There’s no question that those rates are higher than to be expected due to a small sample size, but it does show how VanVleet should dominate the ball. Malachi Flynn has been a popular value the last few slates, but with FVV back, he’ll struggle to produce at the same rate. Bembry, Chris Boucher, and Khem Birch should all play heavy minutes and should be good values at various price points.

The Raptors are playing their second games in as many nights, and somehow they are more shorthanded today than they were yesterday as they prepare to play the San Antonio Spurs. Lowry will be rested for the second straight day, and Bembry and Harris will remain out due to their respective hamstring and hip injuries. Trent Jr. picked up an ankle injury in yesterday's game, and will miss his first game since being traded to the team. VanVleet is out due to his one game suspension, which means he is healthy enough to play the next Raptors game. Paul Watson has cleared protocols and is available to play; he may be badly needed as the Raptors backcourt is decimated. With no Lowry, VanVleet, Trent Jr., and Bembry, it will have to be the Malachi Flynn show again. He should be in line to play minutes in the upper 30's yet again. Rodney Hood and Watson may have to play big minutes as the guard positions (one of them, probably Hood will start), but Flynn will handle the most. Pascal Siakam also will get a bump; he played 40 minutes yesterday, and could have to play heavy minutes while also playing his point forward role. OG Anunoby also will play big minutes, while Chris Boucher and Khem Birch will split the center minutes. The Raptors still have eleven healthy bodies, but so many of them are in the frontcourt, the best value will be Flynn again, along with Siakam and Anunoby.
