DAL TE Jeremy Sprinkle and RB Nick Ralston signed to active roster from practice squad

Jeremy Sprinkle and Nick Ralston have been signed to the active roster from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's contest with the New England Patriots. Both Sprinkle and Ralston are expected to provide depth or play on special teams and are not currently DFS relevant.

Jeremy Sprinkle and Nick Ralston have been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday when the Cowboys are set to take on the New York Giants. Sprinkle is expected to serve as TE3 and Ralston is a fullback so neither is DFS relevant at this time.

DAL WR Malik Turner has been activated from IR; TE Jeremy Sprinkle and RB Nick Ralston elevated from practice squad

Malik Turner has been activated from IR while Jeremy Sprinkle and Nick Ralston have been elevated from the practice squad making them all eligible to play on Sunday. Turner should provide receiver depth while Sprinkle should serve as the third tight end. None of these players look to be DFS relevant this week.

Jeremy Sprinkle and Jaydon Mickens elevated from practice squad Thursday

For tonight's one game slate, both the Cowboys and the Bucs made some changes to their active roster. Sprinkle was elevated to the active roster for the Cowboys; he's a TE who will likely play only special teams, but has a one off chance to find some targets behind Blake Jarwin and Dalton Schultz. For the Bucs, WR Mickens usually just handles returns, and won't be likely to see the field on offense.

With Davis on IR, Jeremy Sprinkle will continue to operate as the Redskins' top tight end for the rest of the season.

Vernon Davis (Concussion) is Being Placed on Injured Reserve

Davis has been out since Week 4 with a concussion and the Redskins decided to shut him down for the year. He started the season with an incredible highlight reel 48-yard TD catch and run Week 1, but gained just 75 additional yards outside of that play in 4 games. Jeremy Sprinkle will continue as the Redskins' top TE.

Paul Richardson (Hamstring) and Vernon Davis (Concussion) Out Sunday

Richardson will miss his first game of the season, while Davis will miss his 6th straight game. Jeremy Sprinkle remains the top TE, while Richardson's 4-5 targets per game should provide a modest boost to the remaining Redskins' receivers.

Vernon Davis Remains in Concussion Protocol; Chris Thompson (Toe) Week-to-Week

Both Vernon Davis and Chris Thompson's extended absences could continue for at least one more week. Sprinkle will continue to see more targets if Davis is out, while Guice is returning from IR and would fill some of Thompson's role at RB, in particular as a receiving back.

Both Davis and Thompson have been ruled out for the Redskins Thursday night. Wendell Smallwood will be the backup RB, while Jeremy Sprinkle will be the starting TE. Note that Adrian Peterson is questionable for Thursday, so Smallwood may get the chance to start.
