Poor puck luck has resulted in a very disappointing start for this veteran winger
He may have just one assist through 11 games, but hear me out on this one. Jokinen was recently moved onto Edmonton's second forward line where he'll play alongside much more proven linemates in Milan Lucic and Ryan Nugent-Hoplins. The Finish veteran is also just two seasons removed from a campaign that saw him rack up 18 goals and 42 assists in 81 games with the Florida Panthers. The slow start to the season is discouraging to a degree, but his 88.82 PDO suggest he's had some of the worst puck luck in all of the NHL thus far. He's dirt cheap and likely won't see much of any ownership, making him a compelling GPP option against an Islanders squad that has surrendered 3.21 goals against per game this season.
