K.J. Choi Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Ten Minutes to roster lock, no major news to report ahead of Workday Charity Open

For the first time in a few weeks, the PGA Tour is set to play a tournament without any positive COVID Test results. With just about 10 minutes until roster lock, there is no major news to report. K.J. Choi is the only player to pull out of this week's event after pricing was released. ReslutsDB will be up and running a few minutes after lock. Good luck this week Grinders!!!!

K.J. Choi is no longer in the field

K.J. Choi has decided to take a pass on this week's event. He will be replaced in the field by Chase Seiffert.

K.J. Choi looks to stay perfect at The Genesis Open

At the age of 47, K.J. Choi is at the point in his career where he can begin to think about his future on The Champions Tour. This 8 time PGA Tour winner last stepped into the winner's circle at the 2011 Players Championship. Choi enters the 2018 season looking to bounce back from one of his worst seasons on tour. Already off to a decent start this season, Choi gets to play on a course that very much fits his game. Choi is 17 for 17 in cuts made at Rivera Country Club including 5 top 10 or better finishes. With an average finish position inside the top 25 for his career at The Genisis Open, Choi has only finished outside the top 33 in this tournament twice. Reasonably priced at $7,000 you would think that Choi would find his way into a high spot on our expert ranking for this week. With so much value to be had below $8,000 this week, Choi is flying under the radar and could be a sneaky play this week. Whether for cash or GPP's Choi provides enough upside at his cost to merit roster consideration this week.

K.J. Choi switches club companies in the off season

Former Sony Open champion and PGA Tour veteran K.J. Choi has decided to make a club change during the offseason. Choi will make his debut as a member of Ping staff this week at the Sony Open in Hawaii. This 8 time PGA tour winner struggled a bit last season but has experience and a good track record at this event. Choi has made 12 out of 16 cuts at The Sony Open and could provide a good source of low owned salary relief in GPP builds this week. With a game centered around accuracy, Choi should have plenty of opportunities to score this week and is in a prime spot to start of his 2018 season on a positive note.
