Kenneth Dixon Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
Robby Anderson, Demaryius Thomas, Kenneth Dixon Questionable for Sunday
Anderson, Thomas and Dixon are all questionable for the Jets Sunday. The Jets have a tough matchup against the Bills to end the season.
Jets Sign RB Kenneth Dixon to their Active Roster
The Jets have signed RB Kenneth Dixon to their active roster. Dixon last played in 2018 for the Ravens, and he should be at the bottom of the RB depth chart for the Jets.
Cheap RB Who May Have an Increased Workload
Look, this is purely a speculative GPP play here, but Dixon has 16 carries and 2 receptions in the last 2 weeks, and it sounds like they are going to get him more involved this week. TB has been a defense who we have targeted this year in the pass game (28th DVOA), but they've been even worse in the run game this year (30th DVOA). In TB's last 2 losses, teams have averaged 30 rush attempts against and this week the Ravens are favored by 7.5 points. With not a whole lot of RB value this weekend, Dixon could be the one guy with the potential to get above 15 points and allow you to pay up for one or two high priced RBs.
Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon Expected to see Larger Role Moving Forward
"I’d definitely expect to see Kenneth’s role to grow based on the fact he’s doing well with what he’s been given so far," John Harbaugh said regarding Kenneth Dixon. The Gus Edwards run of dominance may be coming to an end and Dixon could challenge for lead back in this system soon enough.
Ravens place RB Alex Collins on injured reserve, activate RB Kenneth Dixon
The Baltimore Ravens have officially placed Alex Collins on injured reserve, effectively ruling him out of Sunday's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons and ending his season. In a corresponding move, the Ravens also activated running back Kenneth Dixon, who had been designated to return off injured reserve, and he'll join the backfield committee that now consists of himself, Gus Edwards, Ty Montgomery, and Javorius Allen to a lesser extent. Dixon appears likely to start out as the third or fourth running back on the depth chart, but his role will certainly be one to monitor as the season winds down, as he is the only member of the aforementioned group that Baltimore has any significant amount of draft capital invested, while the other three are all slated to be restricted or unrestricted free agents this offseason.
TE Hayden Hurst and RB Kenneth Dixon ruled out for TNF
As expected, the starting TE and backup RB won't be out there against the Bengals. Nick Boyle paced the Ravens TE corps with 3 catches for 40 yards in Sunday’s blowout of the Bills, though fellow tight ends Maxx Williams and Mark Andrews weren’t too far behind with 3 catches each of their own. Nonetheless, Boyle started the game for the Ravens, was in on nearly 70% of the team’s snaps, and tied for the team lead in targets. He appears worthy of some consideration on smaller slates in a game that the Ravens may be forced to pass more this time around. Alex Collins and Buck Allen will pick up Dixon's snaps in what is likely to remain a committee. The 2 backs racked up nearly an even snap count in Week 1, though Collins did lose a fumble early in that game where he was briefly benched, suggesting he could have a short leash in Week 2.
Kenneth Dixon Out with Injury
Dixon will be sidelined a few weeks. Perhaps this opens up more opportunity for Alex Collins.
RB Kenneth Dixon not expected to play Thursday
Dixon's knee injury is going to cost him some time. Alex Collins and Buck Allen will pick up his snaps in what is almost certain to remain a committee in Baltimore where the former eats up early down duties and the latter shuffles in on passing downs. The 2 backs racked up nearly an even snap count in Week 1's blowout of Buffalo, though Collins did lose a fumble early in that game where he was briefly benched, suggesting he may have a short leash in Week 2.
Kenneth Dixon will play tonight
This isn't surprising as the rookie Ravens RB has practiced all week. He has a juicy match up with the Browns (31st in RB Rush DVOA) but he'll be splitting work with Terrance West which makes it hard to use him for DFS purposes in all but a GPP flyer or two.
Kenneth Dixon listed as questionable for Thursday
Dixon (chest) is still expected to play the Browns tomorrow. He hasn't had much of an impact yet this season though. He's averaging 1.5 yards per carry on 15 rushing attempts. Baltimore is starting to get him a bit more involved, providing the rookie running back with 11 touches last week against the Steelers. However, Dixon only managed to pick up 13 total yards in the game. At this point, he's more of a threat to cut into Terrance West's workload than become a fantasy option himself. On the bright side, he has shown promise and the Ravens like him a lot, but it's more of a wait-and-see approach right now.
