As expected, Jamison Crowder and La'Mical Perine are inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The loss of Crowder will be a big hit to the New York offense that is already struggling as it is. Braxton Berrios and Keelan Cole will become the top receivers and could be considered as value options this weekend, though it is tough to trust any member of the Jets offense at this point. With Tevin Coleman also out, the Jets backfield will be led by Michael Carter with Ty Johnson and Austin Walter available to back him up. Carter can be considered as an option strictly based on expected volume.

With Walter and Perine inactive, Tevin Coleman and Ty Johnson will be available to backup Michael Carter, who should see the bulk of the work. Ty Johnson is somewhat of a surprising healthy scratch at the Jets will elect to go with Michael Carter leading the backfield and Tevin Coleman and Austin Walter available to back him up. Carter can be considered in most lineups even in a tough matchup due to his pass-catching ability.

Corey Davis and La'Mical Perine have both been listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans. As expected after being downgraded to doubtful yesterday Davis will be unable to play. With Davis out, Elijah Moore and Jamison Crowder will be the top two receiver for the Jets with Keelan Cole also slated to play a role. Elijah Moore is worthy of consideration after he has impressed the last few weeks and gets an uptick in expected production with Davis out. La'Mical Perine was expected to serve as the third running back but Austin Walter (who was recently elevated) will now step into that role.

La'Mical Perine has been listed inactive for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. Perine's role as the third running back in the Jets backfield has been reclaimed by Tevin Coleman though he still doesn't figure to be DFS relevant.

Perine was ruled out as a healthy scratch, leaving the backfield to a three man committee of Michael Carter, Ty Johnson, and Tevin Coleman. Mims was ruled in, a mild surprise as it was expected he'd sit with Elijah Moore returning to the team. The Jets now have 6 healthy WRs, so the depth pieces (Braxton Berrios, Keelan Cole, and Mims) are much tougher to trust, although the Jets play on a showdown slate so all options can be considered.

Keelan Cole was considered a game-time decision coming into this game and will be unable to suit up for the Jets Sunday when they take on the Carolina Panthers. This makes Corey Davis and Elijah Moore even better plays as Cole joins Jamison Crowder as unavailable. Moore is an elite play and should be considered in all formats. Perine and Adams were not expected to see much if any run today as most of the rushing should be handled by Tevin Coleman, Michael Carter, and Ty Johnson.

Head coach Adam Gase confirmed that Perine sustained a high-ankle sprain in Week 11, and he's expected to miss several weeks, which effectively rules him out for Week 12's matchup and makes him a candidate to be placed on injured reserve sometime this week. There had been reports that Perine was going to take on a larger role in the Jets' backfield following the by week, but he only managed to accumulate eight carries prior to exiting Sunday's contest with the aforementioned injury. Perine's absence likely elevates Frank Gore to the lead running back once again, but it's certainly possible that the Jets go into full evaluation mode down the stretch of the season and Ty Johnson or Josh Adams become more involved in the offensive gameplan.
