Rodney Stuckey (left knee strain) officially ruled out for tonight; expected to miss 4-6 weeks
Stuckey is going to miss four to six weeks due to a patellar strain in his left knee. Stuckey was not playing much but was supposed to pick up the minutes left behind by the injured Glenn Robinson III. Stuckey has dealt with a myriad of injuries all season long and rarely did you miss having him in your lineups. The Pacers are running a tighter rotation with Stuckey and GR3 out. Al Jefferson is also out for a few weeks due to an ankle issue, but he was not a viable DFS option as well. Lavoy Allen has seen more of the big man minutes off the bench.
Lavoy Allen (sore left knee) available to play tonight
Allen is officially available to play in tonight's game against the Toronto Raptors after previously being listed as questionable on the Pacers' injury report with a sore left knee that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. His return to the rotation will likely cut into Rakeem Christmas' reserve minutes with the second unit and should reduce Thaddeus Young's playing time back to normal, opposed to minutes consistently in the upper-30s. Young is still clearly battling through a wrist injury given his recent lull production despite an uptick in minutes, so he can easily be avoided on Sunday's slate with his playing time expected to decrease.
Lavoy Allen (sore right knee) has been ruled out for tonight
Allen will not play in tonight's game against the Charlotte Hornets after previously being listed as questionable on the Pacers' injury report with a sore right knee that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Allen has been dealing with the knee issue for most of the season and only played 3 minutes in his prior appearance. Thaddeus Young has played at least 37 minutes in each of the past two games with Allen sidelined, while Kevin Seraphin has been a DNP-CD. Rakeem Christmas has taken over the majority of backup frontcourt minutes alongside Al Jefferson but is not even in consideration as a daily fantasy option on a full 10-game slate. Christmas has not scored over 15 fantasy points this entire season.
Lavoy Allen (sore right knee) has been ruled out for tonight
Lavoy Allen has been ruled out of tonight's contest due to a sore knee. Allen has been dealing with the knee issue for most of the season and only played 3 minutes in the Pacers' previous game. Thaddeus Young played 38 minutes with Allen limited and Kevin Seraphin has been a DNP-CD over the last two games. Rakeem Christmas played 19 minutes against the Heat on Sunday but is a low-end option even though Allen is out. Christmas has not scored over 15 fantasy points this season.
Lavoy Allen questionable for the Pacers tonight
Allen appears on the injury report on an almost daily basis - he is not a major part of the Pacers rotation and has no DFS impact.
Lavoy Allen (sore left knee) active and available to play tonight
Allen will be available to play off the bench in tonight's game against the Detroit Pistons after previously being listed as questionable on the Pacers' injury report with a sore left knee that has forced him to miss two consecutive games. Paul George had been some additional playing time at the power forward spot with Allen unavailable and Thaddeus Young still working his way back from a wrist injury while playing limited minutes. It should be expected for a majority of the playing time at the four to subside for George, as Allen should immediately absorb those vacated minutes assuming he is a full go for Wednesday's contest. However, Allen is still not a viable option on a huge 11-game slate.
Lavoy Allen (sore left knee) ruled out tonight
Allen will not play in tonight's game against the Indiana Pacers after previously being listed as questionable on the Pacers' injury report with a sore left knee that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Allen played 20 minutes in his most recent game, while Al Jefferson was the beneficiary of a DNP-CD despite being available to play. In Allen's absence, Kevin Seraphin and Rakeem Christmas should be expected to absorb a majority of his vacated reserve minutes and Jefferson may even re-enter the rotation. The Pacers have essentially been rolling with a power forward by committee approach with Thaddeus young still working his way back from a wrist injury, but with Allen unavailable, there will be some extra playing time that should be disbursed to Seraphin and Young, putting them firmly in play on the turbo and express slates.
Lavoy Allen (sore right knee) ruled out today
Allen will not play in today's game against the Atlanta Hawks due to a sore right knee despite never appearing on the Pacers' injury report at any point over the weekend. Allen played 20 minutes in the Pacers most recent game, while Al Jefferson was the beneficiary of a DNP-CD despite being available to play. In Allen's absence, Kevin Seraphin and Rakeem Christmas should be expected to absorb a majority of his vacated reserve minutes and Jefferson may even re-enter the rotation. The Pacers have essentially been rolling with a power forward by committee approach with Thaddeus young still working his way back from a wrist injury, but with Allen unavailable, there will be some extra playing time that should be disbursed to Seraphin, making him a viable tournament punt option on the early slate.
Al Jefferson (dental pain) ruled out Saturday
This will be Jefferson's second straight absence. Lavoy Allen will continue to get minutes at PF and C off the bench, he had a double-double last game with ten points and ten rebounds. It's highly unlikely he can produce something similar again tonight, though, and he's not a great fantasy target. Myles Turner has been playing well, he's definitely in play against a Miami team that ranks 19th in DvP against centers.
Thaddeus Young, Lavoy Allen probable for tonight
Young has been a fairly good bet to suit up most of the day, so this news isn't terribly shocking. With Young and Allen expected back, Kevin Seraphin will go back to seeing a handful of minutes (at best) off the bench, while Young should resume his 30-34 minutes of court time at the PF spot. He may be slightly limited in his first game back, but given the long layover of the ASB, it's possible he's thrust straight back into his regular role. The Pacers in general aren't an appealing target on a ten-game slate where they'll be facing off with a slow paced, defensive-minded Grizzlies team.
