LVR WR Marcell Ateman elevated from practice squad for Sunday
Marcell Ateman has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Ateman is expected to serve as receiver depth for the Raiders who have found themselves extremely thin at the position due to events in the last couple of weeks. Ateman is too far down the depth chart to be considered DFS relevant at this juncture.
Josh Jacobs (Shoulder), Marcell Ateman (Ribs) Questionable for Sunday
Jacobs is questionable for Sunday, and his workload is not clear even if he does play. He's an elite option when healthy, but he's dealing with a fairly significant shoulder injury.
Hunter Renfrow (Rib), Marcell Ateman (Ribs) Limited in Practice Thursday
Renfrow was able to practice for the first time since suffering a rib injury that also punctured his lung. It still isn't clear if he will play this season, but this limited practice was a step forward.
Hunter Renfrow (Rib/Lung) Week-to-Week, Won't Play Sunday
Not surprisingly, Renfrow will not play Sunday after suffering a broken rib and punctured lung last week. His status for the rest of the season is not known. Renfrow has had a strong rookie season and seen an increased role as the season has progressed. He has 36 catches for 396 yards and 2 TDs in 11 games.
Raiders Cut J.J. Nelson and Sign Marcell Ateman
The Raiders released Nelson and re-signed WR Marcell Ateman. They have a bye week to get Ateman back up to speed.
Raiders WR Tyrell Williams "is a Long-Shot to Play Today Against the Bears"
Without the Raiders' best receiver on the field in London today, he projected 24% target share will likely be divided among J.J. Nelson, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller, Marcell Ateman, Trevor Davis, and Keelan Doss. Against the elite Bears defense, all but Waller are thin DFS options for this weekend.

Raiders WR Seth Roberts (concussion) added to injury report as a limited participant in practice earlier, so he suffered the injury today. Third time entering concussion protocol in recent months - he also was in the protocol in training camp and Oct. 14 against the Seahawks. If he's limited or can't go, Jordy Nelson, Jared Cook and Marcell Ateman could see an inflated target share.
Let's Hope He Stays Low Owned
It's really ugly for the Raiders at this point of the season, but they're likely going to be trailing this entire game. Cook had five targets and both running backs had four targets each in week 12 against Baltimore. Ateman had ten targets in that game but was only able to catch three of them. He's played 100% and 87% of the snaps in his first two games and had really tough matchups against Patrick Peterson and Jimmy Smith. He gets to face a Kansas Chiefs defense that allows the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. We're projecting him to have pretty low ownership this weekend, and I hope he continues to fly under the radar.
