Martellus Bennett placed on IR
Bennett is dealing with shoulder and hamstring injuries. Considering surgery was on the table prior to his departure from Green Bay, this isn't a huge surprise. He ended up playing two games with the Patriots this season, his move to the IR won't change much in New England.
Danny Amendola will play Week 12, Martellus Bennett to be inactive
Amendola was questionable heading into Sunday with a knee issue. With Chris Hogan sidelined, he could be in line for more snaps and targets against the Dolphins this afternoon - he saw eight last week against the Raiders. While slot corner Bobby McCain hasn't produced strong numbers this season, Miami's outside CBs have been worse. Xavien Howard, who will primarily guard Brandin Cooks, currently has PFF's second-worst cover grade in the NFL. With Cooks earning our best wide receiver grade among those playing this week, our WR/CB matchup tool gives Cooks the second-best rating score. He's picked up 20 targets over the past two weeks without Hogan and should be in line for a heavy workload again. Hogan has been Brady's favorite weapon in scoring position, so his absence should provide Rob Gronkowski more looks in scoring position. The tight end has received four red zone targets over the past two games but wasn't able to find the end zone during that stretch. The Dolphins have struggled to contain tight ends this season; they're 25th in DVOA while they've given up the fourth-most touchdowns (0.6/g) and the fifth-most PPR points to the position.
Chris Hogan and C David Andrews ruled out for Week 12, Danny Amendola, S Patrick Chung, CB Eric Rowe, DT Malcolm Brown, and Matt Slater questionable; Martellus Bennett doubtful
Hogan (shoulder) hasn't been able to practice all week and he won't play on Sunday. Without his favorite red zone target, Hogan, Brady should look for Gronkowski often in scoring position. The tight end has picked up four targets within the 20-yard line over the past two games but wasn't able to find the end zone during that stretch. The Dolphins have struggled to contain tight ends this season; they're 25th in DVOA while they've given up the fourth-most touchdowns (0.6/g) and the fifth-most PPR points to the position. Brandin Cooks has averaged 10.0 targets during Hogan's absence and he should be in line for a nice volume of targets again this week. Miami is giving up the eighth-most touchdowns to receivers (1.0/g) but the 13th-fewest PPR points as they tend to funnel some production towards tight ends. Amendola is listed questionable but he's expected to suit up. He played 60% of the snaps last week and saw nine targets.
Danny Amendola (knee) and Martellus Bennett (shoulder) active Sunday; Mike Gillislee a healthy scratch
Amendola and Bennett will be both be active for today's game against the Oakland Raiders after previously being listed as questionable on the New England Patriots' injury report as questionable with separate knee and shoulder injuries, respectively. This news doesn't come as a shock, however, as both players were expected to suit up despite the prior injury designations. Just how much Bennett will be involved in the New England Patriots offense moving forward remains to be seen, but Amendola remains in a good spot considering the Patriots slate-high 31 points implied team total against a Raiders defense that ranks 32nd in pass DVOA. That said, he has played just under 50 percent of the team's snaps since returning from his earlier injury and there are better places to look for fantasy goodness in this Patriots offense. Additionally, Mike Gillisee is a healthy scratch for the second straight game, clearing the way for Rex Burkhead, Dion Lewis, and James White to handle the Patriots running back snaps and workload.

Martellus Bennett expected to play Week 10
Bennett is dealing with a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum but he's expected to suit up tonight against the Broncos. Although he should make a relatively easy transition into the offense considering he was with the team a season ago, he probably won't make much of an impact behind Rob Gronkowski.
Chris Hogan and RT Marcus Cannon ruled out for Week 10, Danny Amendola, Martellus Bennett, CB Stephen Gilmore, and CB Eric Rowe questionable
Amendola, Gilmore, and Rowe are all expected to play Sunday. Bennett passed his physical with New England and was on the practice field Friday but he's dealing with a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum - he's truly questionable. He could make a relatively easy transition into the offense if/when he's healthy considering he was with the team a season ago but he probably won't make much of an impact behind Rob Gronkowski. With Hogan out, Gronk, who's hit double-digit targets in three games and found the end zone five times, could be in line for a volume bump against the Broncos this weekend. Brady has loved targeted Hogan in scoring position, providing him the sixth-most red zone looks in the league (11); those could shift towards Gronkowski this weekend. It's already a solid spot for him with the Broncos allowing the third-most PPR points to TEs, so the added opportunities would be very welcome. He's currently second among tight ends with 2.11 yards per route run (per PFF), a number that's better than all but seven wide receivers. Despite a hefty price tag, Gronk currently projects in our top five points-per-dollar TEs on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Amendola and Phillip Dorsett are also in line for more snaps and targets with Hogan down. Cannon (ankle) is PFF's top-graded tackle in run blocking, his absence will certainly make it harder for the stable of Patriots backs to find running room against a Denver defense currently sitting in third in adjusted line yards (3.13, per FO). He hasn't been as effective in pass protection; he's 30th in pressures allowed and he's given up the third-most sacks (3) at his position. Even so, his absence won't help the Patriots slow down Von Miller off the edge. Miller currently leads his position in pass rushing productivity this season and he's seventh in the league with 8.0 sacks.
Martellus Bennett is practicing Friday, Chris Hogan and RT Marcus Cannon aren't participating
Bennett passed his physical with New England and was on the practice field Friday. Although he's dealing with a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum, he may try to play. He could make a relatively easy transition into the offense considering he was with the team a season ago but he probably won't make much of an impact behind Rob Gronkowski. With Hogan not expected to play, Gronk, who's hit double-digit targets in three games and found the end zone five times, could be in line for a volume bump against the Broncos this weekend. Martellus Bennett has torn rotator cuff and torn labrum
The tight end was playing with the injuries in Green Bay this season and may try to do the same in New England. He was ruled out of Week 10 by the Packers before they waived him and it's not clear when he'll be able to suit up for the Patriots, if at all.
Patriots claimed Martellus Bennett off waivers
Bennett is still dealing with a shoulder injury, so it's not clear when he'll be ready to suit up for New England. It should be a relatively smooth transition considering Bennett was with the Patriots a season ago. He hauled in 55 receptions for 701 yards and a career-high seven scores with them in 2016.
