Mattias Janmark Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

This winger leads his team in points per game.

It is Alexander Radulov — not Jamie Benn or Tyler Seguin — that leads the Dallas Stars in points per game and is the only player on the roster that is scoring at more than a point per game with 41 points in 39 games. The Stars have broken up their stacked top line with Radulov and Seguin being joined by Mattias Janmark. Janmark had 19 goals last season but has struggled mightily this season with just 3 goals in 49 games. This line is a great spot to bounce back for him playing with Radulov and Seguin.

New opportunity for Swedish Star

While there is no guarantee Mattias Janmark will stay with Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov, his price across the industry is hard to ignore, especially since his minutes are relatively stable no matter which line he is skating on. Janmark was productive last season, collecting 34 points in 81 games played, but it has been a relatively disappointing third season for the 26 year old as he has suffered from a poor shooting percentage (4.3%) which is far below his first two seasons (13.9% and 14%). There's no better time for Janmark to produce than tonight.

Wealth of opportunity on top line for sophomore winger

Nothing about Mattias Janmark will really stand out, but some may be surprised to see he has 32 points (17 goals, 15 assists) in 67 games while averaging over 17 minutes of ice time. Ken Hitchcock continues to move guys around as it seems Janmark, rather than captain Jamie Benn, will skate on the top line alongside Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov. While Janmark does not skate on the team's top power play unit, he does see time on the second unit. Paying up for Seguin is not a must like it often is in a premier matchup, but gaining some even-strength exposure with the dirt-cheap Janmark could be worthwhile.

A line shake-up in Dallas creates value for this winger

Ken Hitchcock recently shuffled up his forward lines and Mattias Janmark looks to be one of the biggest beneficiaries. Janmark showed plenty of offensive upside in his rookie season last year, where posted a solid 15 goals and 14 assists in just 73 games. He lit the lamp on Friday night and tallied two goals and two assists in the last four games. With Tyler Seguin helping create some open ice, the 24-year-old is one of the better values on this two game slate.
