Moderately Priced With Multi-Point Upside

All three members of the Edmonton Oilers number one line are in play this evening in all formats, with Connor McDavid easily leading the way, but with their moderate price tags across the industry, both Milan Lucic and Jesse Puljujarvi should also be at the top of your list. The Chicago Blackhawks have struggled with their defensive game all season long (28th in HDCA/60 and 23rd in SCA/60), and they will be playing their second game in as many nights. If you cant pay up for Connor McJesus in cash, both Lucic and Puljujarvi give you cheap exposure, with Lucic being the preferred option, because of his time on the top power play unit. As for tournaments, this trio is a must stack tonight if you are a multi-entry GPP player.

Multi-Point Potential on the Wing

Offense is definitely hard to come by tonight, however with that being said, I do think we can look to Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers top line, especially if you are looking for a little salary relief. Both Milan Lucic (4 G, and 8 PTS in his last 7 GP) and Jesse Puljujarvi (4 G and 6 PTS in his last 7 GP) have picked up their offensive game of late, and they should continue to produce playing alongside Connor McJesus. Puljujarvis low price tag industry wide certainly makes him an attractive option, but with Lucic also skating on the Oilers top power play unit, he becomes the better option of the two. Not to mention, this is a line you should be stacking tonight in tournaments if are you are multi-entry player.

Lucic to end trip on high note?

Long gone are the days when Lucic stuffed the stat sheet as a multi-category asset, but in our one day reset lineup format, Lucic has some value. With Nicklas Backstrom likely to work against Connor McDavid and the top line, Lucic should draw out against Alex Ovechkin and the second Washington unit. That is an extremely favorable draw, as the Washington line has a hideous 42.64% CF% at 5v5, driven by a ridiculously high shot attempts allowed rate (75.54). Though Lucic is not the force he once was, he does come into this game in short-term good form with points in three straight. If owners do not mind a little risk, Lucic makes for a great short slate play.

EDM PP

The NHL's fifth best power play unit last season, Edmonton's top power play should be busy on the man advantage tonight taking on an undisciplined Winnipeg Jets team that is perennially among the most penalized teams in the league and ranked 26th in penalty kill percentage last season. Things haven't changed early this season, as Winnipeg has allowed two power play goals in back to back games to open the year. McDavid, Draisaitl, and Klefbom are the obvious pieces to target from Edmonton's top power play unit, but if you're looking to differentiate your lineups in tournaments, don't sleep on Mark Letestu, who despite playing on the fourth line, scored five goals, which included three on the man advantage in three games against the Jets last season.
