Milos Teodosic (sore plantar fascia) ruled out Wednesday
Teodosic reaggravated his left plantar fascia in Tuesday's win and will not play in Wednesday's matchup with the Phoenix Suns as the Los Angeles Clippers already announced that he'll be re-evaluated on Thursday before his status moving forward is determined. Lou Williams ended up replacing Teodosic in the starting lineup for the second half of last night's contest, logging 37 minutes, and he appears to be the leading candidate to start alongside Austin Rivers in the backcourt, unless head coach Doc Rivers opts to start someone like Sindarius Thornwell or Tyrone Wallace in order to keep Williams in his normal sixth-man role. Unsurprisingly, Williams, Rivers, and DeAndre Jordan lead the post-trade deadline Clippers with a minimum +1.9% usage rate differential with Teodosic, Danilo Gallinari, and Avery Bradley off the court, while both Rivers and Jordan own at least a +0.13 increase to their per minute production in this scenario as well.
Attacking a Massive Vegas Total
The price tag is dirt cheap, and he could be the key to unlocking value in this mouth-watering matchup between the Clippers and Pelicans. His minutes have been very steady, and while he won't provide a 50 fantasy point ceiling, the floor is higher than normal in a favorable matchup. With the Clippers owning such a high team total (their highest of the year?), this could be the time to buy. I want at least two pieces of this Clippers/Pelicans game in cash formats, and you could make a case for more than that. The game is also very stackable in GPPs, too.
For those who may not have received our last alert due to technical issues: Milos Teodosic - and not Tyrone Wallace - will start in place of Avery Bradley
Wallace was reportedly set to get the nod at SG, but Teodosic will draw the start instead at PG with Austin Rivers sliding over to SG. Teodosic is a viable punt play on the late-slate given his increased role and path to minutes with Bradley out, but Lou Williams is still very likely to be the most productive guard on the LAC side. All three options are in play, with Williams offering the highest upside and Rivers offering a solid ceiling considering his price.
Milos Teodosic to start for the Clippers Thursday

Milos Teodosic (sore foot) will play Monday
Teodosic has been cleared to play and will suit up for Monday's game against the Brooklyn Nets, according to head coach Doc Rivers, after previously being listed as questionable on the Los Angeles Clippers' injury report with a sore right foot that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. Rivers didn't clarify with reporters whether Teodosic would start or come off the bench in his return to game action, but he still figures to be allotted the least amount of minutes among Lou Williams, Avery Bradley, and Austin Rivers in the backcourt rotation either way. Rivers surprisingly averaged 32 minutes in his first two games, including a back-to-back set, since returning from an 18-game absence due to a right ankle impingement. So, it's safe to say that Rivers won't be subject to a minute restriction moving forward. Additionally, the return of Teodosic will likely demote Tyrone Wallace to the fringe of the rotation and it would be far from surprising for him to be on the receiving end of a DNP-CD this evening.
Milos Teodosic (sore foot) ruled out Saturday
Teodosic has officially been ruled out and won't play in Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers after previously being listed as questionable on the Los Angeles Clippers' injury report with a sore right foot that also forced him to miss Friday's win. In that contest, Austin Rivers returned from an 18-game absence due to a right ankle impingement and ended up logging 31 minutes, surprisingly, in his start in place of Teodosic at point guard. There's been no reported minute restriction for Rivers on the second leg of the back-to-back set, but given the nature of his injury, it's certainly possible he could have his playing time limited in some regard. Either way, Tyrone Wallace will remain in the backcourt rotation for at least one more game, while Lou Williams will still be a key piece in the Clippers guard rotation as he normally is, logging 32-36 minutes off the bench on a regular basis.
Austin Rivers (ankle) will play Friday; Milos Teodosic (foot) ruled out
Rivers confirmed to reporters that he has been cleared to play and will suit up for Friday's contest against the Detroit Pistons after previously being listed as questionable on the Los Angeles Clippers' injury report with a right ankle impingement that had forced him to miss 18 consecutive games. Meanwhile, Milos Teodosic has been ruled out following his earlier questionable designation due to a sore right foot. There's been no reported minute restriction for Rivers, but given the nature of his injury, it's unlikely he'll be allotted a full minute workload in his first game back. However, he will draw the start at point guard in place of Teodosic, leaving open the possibility he sees more playing time than expected. Either way, Tyrone Wallace will remain in the rotation for at least one more game, while Lou Williams figures to still be a key piece in the Clippers backcourt as he normally is, logging 34-38 minutes off the bench on a regular basis.
Blake Griffin (concussion) and Milos Teodosic (foot) questionable Thursday
Griffin has officially been listed as questionable on the Los Angeles Clippers' injury report for tonight's game against the Sacramento Kings due to a concussion that has already forced him to miss two consecutive games. Meanwhile, Milos Teodosic has also been upgraded to questionable with a sore left plantar fascia that has kept him sidelined for three straight games. It's still unknown whether Griffin has cleared the concussion protocol, but if he has, he'll more than likely be good to go this evening, making him an intriguing tournament option given the likelihood news of his availability won't break prior to lock on the main slate. There's been no confirmation of a potential starting lineup sans C.J. Williams, but Lou Williams is a strong candidate to remain in the starting lineup with the dearth of options available for head coach Doc Rivers at the shooting guard position and the fact that Tyrone Wallace and Sindarius Thornwell being the only other realistic alternatives. If Griffin is held out an additional game, Lou Williams becomes a strong option once again after dropping 50 actual points in Thursday' win over the Golden State Warriors.
Milos Teodosic (foot) ruled out Wednesday; Blake Griffin (concussion) remains out
Teodosic has been ruled out and won't play in tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors after previously being listed as questionable on the Los Angeles Clippers' injury report with a sore left plantar fascia that has now forced him to miss three consecutive games. Meanwhile, Blake Griffin remains in the concussion protocol and will be sidelined for the second straight game. The Clippers are also still without Austin Rivers, Danilo Gallinari, and Patrick Beverley, so Lou Williams and Jawun Evans were called upon to start in the backcourt for Monday's contest with Teodosic and Griffin sidelined. Evans ended up logging 39 minutes in his last start en route to easily exceeding salary-based expectations, but with Tyrone Wallace now in the fold in the backcourt rotation, those appear to be far from secure, relegating him to a tournament-only option. With the aforementioned players off the court this season, Williams and DeAndre Jordan have been the clear beneficiaries from a usage standpoint, as each own at least a +5.5% usage rate differential, while Jordan has also seen his production spike to 1.44 fantasy points per minute on DraftKings and 1.41 on FanDuel in this scenario.
Milos Teodosic (plantar fascia) ruled out Saturday
Teodosic has been ruled out and won't play in today's game against the Golden State Warriors after previously being listed as questionable on the Los Angeles Clippers' injury report with a sore left plantar fascia that he sustained in the first half of Thursday's loss and was unable to return. Jawun Evans ended up replacing him at point guard to begin the second half, logging 23 minutes, and will do so once again, according to head coach Doc Rivers, for Saturday's contest. The Clippers are without Austin Rivers and Patrick Beverley, leaving them relatively thin at the point guard position for the duration of Teodosic and Rivers' absences, which forced the team to part ways with Jamil Wilson and sign Tyrone Wallace to a two-way contract. This should lead to a massive minute load for Lou Williams, and he owns a +4.5% usage rate differential with the aforementioned players off the court this season, making him an elite option with his per minute rate of 1.27 fantasy points on DraftKings and 1.19 on FanDuel in this scenario.
