JAC WR Tavon Austin now questionable for Sunday; RB Nathan Cottrell and WR Josh Hammond elevated from practice squad
Tavon Austin is now questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Nathan Cottrell and Josh Hammond have been elevated from the practice squad. If Austin were to be ruled out, Laquon Treadwell and Laviska Shenault could see a larger share of targets and become better plays. Cottrell is expected to serve as running back depth and is not expected to be DFS relevant behind Dare Ogunbowale and Ryquell Armstead. Hammond is expectd to serve as receiver depth and should not be considered in DFS contests.

Chris Manhertz has been activated from the COVID list, while Nathan Cottrell and Jeff Cotton Jr. have been elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's matchup against the New England Patriots. Manhertz should split snaps at tight end with Luke Farrell, though neither is expected to play a big enough role in the offense to be considered in DFS contests. Cottrell is expected to backup Dare Ogunbowale and it remains to be seen exactly how big of as role he will have with James Robinson out for the season. Cotton Jr. is expected to serve as receiver depth and should not be considered in DFS contests at this point.

James Robinson has reportedly already been ruled out for Sunday. The Jaguars' RB situation now is almost a complete mystery, with Robinson essentially handling all the work so far this season. Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo are the two top active backs, and Nathan Cottrell will also be active. Playing any RB here will have a lot of risk, but there is some nice value if you're able to pick the right back.
