Jeff Green (back) remains out for Tuesday's game
Green has missed the past six games with a sore lower back and he won't travel with the team to Cleveland. There's a decent chance he won't return this season. Orlando's starters - Elfrid Payton, Evan Fournier, Terrence Ross, Aaron Gordon, and Nikola Vucevic - have all been getting extended minutes the past several games and they could continue to do so even in a lost season. Gordon has been crushing the past two games, he's averaged 27 points and 15.5 rebounds. Over the past ten games, Cleveland has been the seventh-worst rebounding team (48.6%) and they've posted the fourth-worst defensive rating (112.2). While it's hard to imagine he can keep up the same pace of his previous two outings, it's not a bad spot to target him again. He and Terrence Ross are a bit cheaper on FanDuel than DraftKings. Vucevic is $900 less on DK, so it's probably best to get exposure on him there. Payton is coming off a triple double and he'll get to face Kyrie Irving's defense; Irving has a -2.18 defensive real plus minus according to ESPN, which is 77th among 89 qualifying point guards. Mario Hezonja stands to continue picking up minutes off the bench without Green available, but there's not much reason to try to find value among Orlando's backups.
Nikola Vucevic (sore Achilles) confirmed in the starting lineup tonight
Vucevic will play and start in tonight's game against the Philadelphia 76ers after previously being listed as questionable on the Magic's injury report with a sore right Achilles that forced him to miss Sunday's practice. Additionally, his availability in the starting lineup removes Bismack Biyombo from daily fantasy consideration entirely. The Sixers have really struggled to defend the interior since Joel Embiid has been sidelined, which is reflected in their rank of 30th in DvP against opposing centers, so Vucevic is shaping up to be a fantastic tournament option after carrying an injury designation on all of the daily fantasy sites across the industry.
Nikola Vucevic (ankle) will start tonight
Just a half hour after news broke that Nikola Vucevic had been downgraded to questionable for tonight's game against the Phoenix Suns due to an ankle injury, the Magic have officially announced the Vucevic has been cleared to play and will start in Friday's contest. The availability of Vucevic immediately removes Bismack Biyombo from consideration entirely, while Terrence Ross and Evan Fournier also become much less appealing options. Vucevic himself can also be considered for tournaments but does carry some additional risk given the uncertainty surrounding his ankle injury.
Nikola Vucevic (ankle) downgraded to questionable tonight, will be a game-time decision
Vucevic has officially been downgraded to questionable for tonight's game against the Phoenix Suns due to a sprained left ankle despite never appearing on the Magic's injury report at any point during the day. If Vucevic is eventually ruled out, Bismack Biyombo will almost assuredly draw the start at center in his absence. However, Magic head coach Frank Vogel did confirm that Vucevic will definitely start if cleared to play. Biyombo is still slightly priced up across the industry following Vucevic's prior injury stint, but he is still certainly in play as a value option on the late slate should Vucevic be ruled out. Since the All-Star break, both Terrence Ross (24.0%) and Evan Fournier (27.4%) lead the Magic with at least +3.5% usage rate differential with Vucevic off the court, putting them firmly into consideration in a pace up matchup against Phoenix.
Nikola Vucevic (sore Achilles) will start tonight
Vucevic will play and start in tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after previously being listed as questionable on the Magic's injury report with a sore right Achilles that had forced him to miss four consecutive games. His return to the starting lineup will send Bismack Biyombo back to the bench to resume his reserve role as the backup center. Vucevic is tough to get behind as viable play coming back from an injury as concerning as a sore Achilles, as it's completely in the realm of possibility that he sees limited minutes in his return. With that said, his presence in the starting lineup is a slight hindrance to the projected fantasy value of Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton.
Nikola Vucevic ruled out for Friday
Vucevic has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets. While he's been on the shelf, it's led to an uptick in production for multiple members of the Magic, most notably Elfrid Payton who has strung two straight triple-doubles. Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, and Bismack Biyombo also benefit from his absence. Biyombo will draw the start at center in place once again and has played at least 34 minutes in each of the past three games sans Vucevic. The aforementioned Biyombo has seen his price tag across the industry come up drastically, so he is no longer the stone-cold lock in all formats he was in recent days. However, he is still certainly in play in an exploitable individual matchup with Cody Zeller and the Charlotte frontcourt.
Nikola Vucevic will be a game-time decision for Orlando tonight
The Magic center has missed the last three games but is closer to returning to action after doing individual workouts this morning. He'll be a game-time decision. If he is unable to go, Bismack Biyombo will continue to start and be a viable DFS option after averaging a double-double in the three games Vucevic has missed. We'll update later tonight when we learn more.
Nikola Vucevic OUT again for Orlando; Bismack Biyombo to start
The Magic's starting center will miss his third consecutive game with an Achilles injury and there is no set timetable for his return to action. Bismack Biyombo will continue to start and see significant playing time and despite a significant price increase of late due to back-to-back double-double's with Vucevic out, is a viable DFS option tonight facing the Chicago Bulls.
Nikola Vucevic (sore Achilles) ruled out for tonight; Bismack Biyombo to start again
Vucevic will not play in tonight's game against the New York Knicks after previously being listed as questionable on the Magic's injury report with a sore right Achilles that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Bismack Biyombo will draw the start at center in place once again and played a whopping 34 minutes on Sunday as a starter. In the four previous games that Vucevic has missed this season, Biyombo has seen extremely consistent playing time, averaging 34 minutes of action per contest, and priced at the stone minimum on FanDuel and DraftKings, he now becomes the chalk option at the center spot. However, this is just a scenario where we just eat the chalk and move on, as Biyombo should be expected to crush his salary-based expectations in an exploitable matchup and Serge Ibaka no longer on the Orlando roster.

Bismack Biyombo will draw the start at center in place. In the three previous games that Vucevic has missed this season, Biyombo has averaged a whopping 34 minutes of playing time per contest, and priced at the stone minimum on FanDuel and DraftKings, he now becomes the likely chalk option at the center spot.
