Carolina has played well down the stretch while posting a 66.69 CF/60 over the past month and generating 14.01 HDCF/60 during that span. If you want to pair defenseman with this top line, look to Justin Faulk for power-play correlation.

Sebastian Aho is having a career season for the Carolina Hurricanes this year. The Carolina Hurricanes are fighting it out with the Montreal Canadiens and Columbus Blue Jackets for the final two playoff spots. Right now, the Habs are on the outside looking in and the Hurricanes control their own fate considering if they win out they are in. Tonight they visit the Toronto Maple Leafs who are on the tail-end of a back to back. Over the last month, the Hurricanes have been dominant as they have a 66.59 CF/60 which ranks second — the Leafs 73.83 ranks 1st — and they have had a 3rd ranked 55.83 CF% with the Leafs right behind them ranked 4th with a 55.67 CF%. This is likely to be a back-and-forth game with a tired Leafs team and their struggling backup Garret Sparks between the pipes. Aho along with his wingers Justin Williams and Nino Niederreiter make for an elite line stack tonight in a plus-matchup.

For the reputation that the Winnipeg Jets have, they have struggled over the last month. They have the tenth-worst CF% with a 48.99 rate and a 61.67 CA/60 which is the fifth-worst in the NHL over the last month. This bodes well for the top line of the Carolina Hurricanes which is comprised of Nino Niederreiter, Sebastian Aho and Justin Williams — a line that thas really clicked since Nino was brought in. Aho leads or is tied for the team lead in goals with 7, assists with 11, points with 18 and shots with 56 over the last month and continues to be the most reliable offensive player on the team.

Nino Niederreiter has 9 goals in 17 games with the Carolina Hurricanes. He had 9 goals in 46 games on the Minnesota Wild this season. Clearly this change of scenery for Niederreiter has been incredible and playing alongside Sebastian Aho and Justin Williams has been a career-rejuvenater. As with the other two lines I've written about today, this entire line play on the top power play which gives them full-game correlation and elite upside. They are hosting the St. Louis Blues who are rolling out Jake Allen who has well-publicized struggles and his 2.95 GAA and .902 SV% back up those critics.

Don’t look now but the Carolina Hurricanes have scratched and clawed their way to within one point of the Eastern Conference playoff cut line. It seems that the acquisition of Nino Niederreiter was exactly what the doctor ordered for a team who had plenty of problems putting the puck into the net. In only 15 games Niederreiter’s nine goals ranks eighth on the team as he is paired up with Sebastian Aho and Justin Williams on the team’s top line. Their opponent in the Dallas Stars has been a bit leaky of late as they have given up 16 goals over the past four games. Look for Niederreiter and the Hurricanes to outlast the home team in this one.

Sebastian Aho and the “jerks” in Carolina continue to be completely dominant from a possession standpoint. Over the last month, Aho ranks 6th overall in the NHL with a stunningly impressive 77.57 CF/60 at even strength. He’s an upcoming RFA that is going to get a big payday. He plays on the top line and top power play unit with Justin Williams and Nino Niederreiter which is a line that has clicked since Niederreiter was picked up from Minnesota. The Hurricanes visit the Florida Panthers who will be throwing James Reimer in net tonight. He has struggled mightily this season with a putrid 3.01 goals against average and a .903 save percentage. While the Hurricanes do struggle to score, they fire a ton of pucks towards the net and when taking on a poor goaltender like Reimer, they should have no problem coming out on top.

Several weeks ago, Minnesota sent Nino Niederreiter to Carolina in exchange for Victor Rask. At the time, the trade left many Wild fans scratching their heads. The trade has looked even worse by the day for Minnesota, as Nino has been excellent for his new team. He's playing between 18 to 20 minutes a night on the number one line at even strength and the power play. Tonight, he'll face an Edmonton team leaking in goals at an alarming rate. Lock and load.

Sebastian Aho is an RFA this upcoming summer and he's going to get paid. He's been dominant this season with 24 goals and 63 points in 56 games. He has improved in goals, assists and points in each of the first three seasons of his career (this season's numbers are paced out) and is showing further signs of improvement. Since January 1st, Aho has 9 goals and 24 points in those 18 games and should be able to continue that tonight. Aho will be playing with Justin Williams and Nino Niederreiter as the Carolina Hurricanes visit the Ottawa Senators tonight. Carolina has been dominant possession-wise with a 65.7 CF/60 over the last month which ranks third and league-best 57.63 CF%. Additionally, the Sens have allowed a league-worst 68.52 CA/60 over the last month and are in for a world of pain tonight.

Ninooooo! Nowhere to be found all season long, Nino has heated up with a goal in each of his last two games. The speedster checks in at $4,000 on DraftKings and $4,600 on FanDuel, making him a worthwhile option in tournaments given his stable ice time this month. Nino's 52.67% Corsi For leads all Minnesota skaters, and the team in general draws a strong matchup tonight against a Florida team which continues to leak goals on the road (3.93 GA/G). Look for Nino to stay hot alongside a surging Charlie Coyle and Zach Parise.

Nino, where are you? It has been a mediocre start to the season for Nino Niederreiter who has just 10 points (2G, 8A) in 21 games. Nino is averaging two shots on goal per game but has uncharacteristically suffered from a career-low shooting percentage (4.9%). His shooting percentage the last four seasons are as follows: 13.5%, 13.4%, 12.6%, 16.1%. Goals are right around the corner for Nino, and it likely starts tonight against the porous Senators' defense. Nino's price on both DraftKings ($4,200) and FanDuel ($4,600) is salivating for someone who has multi-goal upside. Get him into your lineups.
