Rakeem Christmas Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Lavoy Allen (sore right knee) has been ruled out for tonight

Lavoy Allen has been ruled out of tonight's contest due to a sore knee. Allen has been dealing with the knee issue for most of the season and only played 3 minutes in the Pacers' previous game. Thaddeus Young played 38 minutes with Allen limited and Kevin Seraphin has been a DNP-CD over the last two games. Rakeem Christmas played 19 minutes against the Heat on Sunday but is a low-end option even though Allen is out. Christmas has not scored over 15 fantasy points this season.

Lavoy allen (sore right knee) downgraded to doubtful; Rakeem Christmas will be active if Allen is ruled out

Allen has been downgraded to doubtful for tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after previously being listed as questionable on the Pacers' injury report with right knee soreness that seems likely to keep him sidelined for a second consecutive game. With Thaddeus Young already ruled out, Kevin Seraphin should step into the starting lineup at the power forward spot once again. Seraphin did see 27 minutes of action in his previous start so he could be worth a look in tournaments against a Kevin Love-less Cavaliers squad if Allen is eventually ruled out.

Rodney Stuckey out for Indiana on Friday

Stuckey played for the first time in forever on Wednesday but now has another injury to deal with as he suffered an ankle sprain. He'll miss the Pacers game on Friday and could potentially miss further games down the road. C.J. Miles is the biggest beneficiary of this news. Rakeem Christmas is also listed as questionable but he's not part of Indiana's rotation and has no DFS impact.

Pacers recall Rakeem Christmas from D-League affiliate

The Pacers are still dealing with injuries to Monta Ellis and Rodney Stuckey so they have recalled guard Rakeem Christmas. He likely won't see the court, but if the Pacers sustain any more injuries he will be used in an emergency situation. This likely means that Ellis and Stuckey are not even close to returning.
