Manaea has officially been scratched from his start in tonight's game against the Texas Rangers due to a minor back issue. In his place, Raul Alcantara will receive the starting nod for the Oakland Athletics this evening. Considering that Alcantara is a right-handed pitcher and a noteworthy downgrade from Manaea in terms of pitching ability, the Rangers now suddenly become a much more intriguing offense to target and the Texas lefties should see a substantial boost to their projected values on Saturday night's slate.

The Oakland lineup still probably makes for a better overall stack given their HR upside, but Detroit has more appeal now than they did earlier this afternoon. Kinsler, Castellanos and Cabrera are the top three Detroit targets, but Jeimer Candelario is a lesser known name with considerable appeal out of the two spot in the lineup.

Both Cano and Kyle Seager (151 wRC+, .233 ISO vs RHP this season) cost less than $4K on FanDuel.

For his career, Joey Gallo has shown a great deal of power versus righties, holding a 0.233 ISO. Nomar Mazara will bat 3rd in front of Gallo and offers a hefty 0.193 ISO himself. Gallo is a high-risk player, sporting an ugly 45% strikeout rate versus RHP, but Alcantara's inability to put lefties away should help mitigate the risk of using the Rangers's young 3rd baseman.
