Robby Fabbri Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections
The St. Louis Blues have an extreme special teams advantage tonight.
The top line for the St. Louis Blues consists of Vladimir Tarasenko, Ryan O'Reilly and Robby Fabbri and they are in a great spot tonight. They take on the Los Angeles Kings — a team that is on a back-to-back as well as their third game in four nights. The Blues have an elite special teams advantage over Kings tonight. They have a 25.0 percent conversion rate on the man-advantage, the ninth best in the NHL. While the Kings have a penalty kill that has just a 77.6 success rate which sits 22nd in the NHL. The Blues penalty kill ranks 12th at 81.0 percent while the Kings power play has an abysmal 13.3 percent rate which is 30th. This is a great spot for the Blues and their top line as the best play with Tarasenko and O'Reilly providing value as a two-man mini-stack as well considering they remain together on the top power play unit while Fabbri gets bumped.
Oft-injured winger moved to top line in place of oft-injured winger
Jaden Schwartz has been ruled out for the remainder of the week which shouldn't come as any surprise to Blues' fans as the talented forward can't seem to stay healthy. Likewise, his teammate Robby Fabbri is one who has battled injuries in his young career. In his 2015-16 rookie season, Fabbri put together 37 points (18G, 19A) in 72 games, but he missed a sizable chunk of 2016-17 before missing all of last season. With Schwartz ruled out, Fabbri is set to skate with red-hot Ryan O'Reilly and the underperforming Vladimir Tarasenko. Additionally, Alex Steen is unlikely to play tonight which really hurts the Blues' depth at wing. Fabbri should see significant playing time, and at just $3,100 on DraftKings and $3,500 on FanDuel, he is an intriguing option to save salary and load up elsewhere.
