Melvin Gordon (ankle) active Sunday; RB Russell Hansbrough a healthy scratch
Gordon is active and will suit up, as expected, for today's game against the Oakland Raiders after previously being listed as questionable on the Los Angeles Chargers' injury report with an ankle injury he sustained during last week's contest. Even though he's active, it's certainly possible that Gordon could see a limited workload with Branden Oliver absorbing more offensive snaps. That said, the fact that the Chargers opted to deactivate recent practice squad call-up Russell Hansbrough could bode well for Gordon's workload and their confidence in his ability to be effective with those touches. Gordon has been one of the most volume-driven fantasy running backs this season, so if he even sees a small dip in snaps or touches it could spell trouble for his projected fantasy value this afternoon.
