Ryan Hollins Daily Fantasy News, Rankings, Projections

Chris Andersen expected to play on Tuesday

Chris Andersen is expected to play against the Lakers on Tuesday. Andersen will be returning after a nine-game absence due to a shoulder injury. In four starts with the Grizzlies, Andersen has been averaging 16.45 DKFP, making him a viable punt play for the late slate. Ryan Hollins will likely go back to the bench with Andersen returning, losing most of his already low DFS value.

Matt Barnes and Zach Randolph OUT for tonight

Matt Barnes will be resting a sore hamstring tonight and Zach Randolph will miss with a sore knee. The Grizzlies only have eight healthy bodies available for tonight's game. Tony Allen will likely start for Barnes and Ryan Hollins could start in Randolph's place. With the Grizzlies playing in the early game tonight, we should expect an update on their starters before lineups lock.

Ryan Hollins expected to be available tonight

Barring flight delays, Ryan Hollins is expected to be available tonight against the Kings. Hollins was with the Grizzlies in early February but is going to re-sign with the team today to provide them some depth with Marc Gasol and Brandan Wright out of action. Hollins isn't DFS relevant and only figures to see marginal run (8-15 minutes) off the bench.

Marc Gasol out indefinitely with a broken right foot

Marc Gasol has been diagnosed with a broken foot after exiting last night's game early. Zach Randolph and Jeff Green will both see a bump in value with Gasol out - Randolph gets the bigger bump as he'll see more court time thanks to the lack of depth behind Gasol at center. JaMychal Green will also see some more minutes with Ryan Hollins also getting into the mix. Brandon Wright is still out from his knee surgery so he will not be in action for another couple weeks. Matt Barnes can also play power forward in a small-ball lineup and should see value jump as well.

Wizards starting lineup released, Ryan Hollins starting at C

The Wizards are completely depleted in the frontcourt and have resorted to starting Ryan Hollins. The rest of the starters are Wall, Beal, Porter, and Dudley which has been the same for some time now. Hollins is a minimum price option and could see upwards of 25 minutes tonight. With everyone injured his backup is DeJuan Blair.

Ryan Hollins expected to start for the Wizards

With Marcin Gortat out due to a family emergency, Ryan Hollins is expected to get the start at center. At minimum price, there is reason to look to him as a value/punt play but it's hard to trust someone who has only played one game and 10 minutes for the team thus far this season. He's a dart throw at best and there are better options on the Wizards (Jared Dudley for example) to look at.
